'00 sohc twin screw supercharger on '98 sohc???

Hello all,




I'm looking at a twin screw s/c advertised in the classifieds on another forum. It is off of a 2000 sohc saleen mustang.


I have a '98 sohc in a Cobra kit I'm building.


Are there any issues with fitment?


Did the intake ports change with the heads in '99?


What else would need to change?


In tank fuel pump? Injectors? Etc.?

You would need 99 up PI heads. The compression ratio with those heads and a 98 short block will be pretty high for a pd supercharger. Bigger injector, fuel pump and maf would be a must.

You would need to put PI heads on it, and do it!!! TMANGT281 is a 97' GT PI Heads with a 2.6KB on it and that car straight parties. On his new setup he is making 7xxhp on a 5.3 SOHC Foxlake Trick Flow Heads 2.6KB 16lbs. I would say its definatley worth it! One of the funniest cars I have ever been around! Power everywhere!
