Did a little project on my 95 “2-top” convertible Mustang Cobra today. The front end on this one is “squeaky.” I had the same thing on a couple of my other cars... here is the fix:
So last week I was driving my new 04 cobra that I've had for maybe 2 months now and it started lunging forward and overheating while I was driving. I made it home and the car wouldn't turn back on until it cooled down. I replaced the thermostat and everything seemed to be fixed. Now this morning...
Hey guys,
I need to replace the teflon o-oring on my high/feed pressure line. Its the end that goes into the power steering pump.
I have to get at the nut that's right behind the power steering pulley.
I remember that when the motor was out of the car I was not able to get to it properly...
I've looked all around for this hose almost every where. Autozone, napa, pep boys and even Ford. The part is apparently discontinued. Its the hose that goes from the Reservior to Pump. For now I have it siliconed and duck tapped for a temerary fix. If anyone has one or knows where to get one...
