Yes you're spoiled, it is a 22 year old car that wasn't near as refined from the factory as the 14 you drive now. I can't speak to the car bc I've not seen it though. Does he have record's showing everything has been replaced or is it just him claiming to have done all those maintenance/...
Yes it's easily done, pvc pipe and some rubber boots/fernco and drill some holes for sensors and such. My opinion just save your money and buy one if you really want one.

I know it's 2 years old but did this ever get finished? Such a good build with no ending lol.

I'm sure they will go up some, but with 130k miles on it now, in 15-20 years it'll probably have 200+ and whatever they go up in price, the miles will offset in this circumstance.

130k miles in perfect condition I feel isn't worth more than 6k. I get it's a mystic but it's never going to be worth anything much because of the miles.

No, I haven't ever personally had one. I know a few that have but it's all an opinion. Loads of people go back to 327s after a turbo set up and they say it's the only way to go.

Actually don't have a set up at the moment, trying to find my old 97 but can't seem to track the guy down.

Yeah I usually pour it in and swish it around and let it sit for a little while then I pour it out and pressure wash it.

The cobra crank is an 8 bolt forged crank good for 1000hp, the others you mentioned are 6 bolt, so unless you plan on changing flywheel, clutch ect stick with the cobra crank.

Do yourself a favor and get some Kooks or one of the more expensive brands, ground clearance and not having to remove a transmission is worth the extra cost over a bbk imho.

If those 2 were my options I would go with the 98, neither will have any resale value but the rebuilt title car isn't worth anything.

I don't believe it absolutely HAS to come out but the time you're going to spend trying to do it in the car, you could have dropped the motor out the bottom and put it back in.

OEM lol works like a charm. Granted I live in an area where auto theft are as likely to happen as getting struck by lightening.

Never used the gaskets but have used B&M plenty of times, set the shift stops and check them every now and then to be sure they stay tight and you'll be fine.
