maybe you guys can help....have friend with S/C 281 2002 Saleen has 18X10 rear wheel and stock 295/35 18 tires. need traction....will 305/45 18 nitto drags fit in the well??? that is the closest size to stock I could find....or do you guys have a better tire recommendation for absolute dry...

My rim size is 18 X 10, with 295 35ZR18 tires. I am wanting to upgrade to a 305 45ZR18, however I am wondering if the tire will fit the wheel well, or if it will cause the tire to rub. I am wanting to make the change asap, so any information received will be appreciated.:read:

I hope someone can give me an answer. My car seems to be running fine in 1st, 2nd and 3rd all the way to the redline. Once I get into 4th gear at about 6200 rpm it starts to cut out as if it was governed. It just started doing this this past weekend, up until then I could almost redline 4th...

:burn: '01 stock cobra (other than cat back exhaust) beats '02 s281 supercharged saleen mustang through 1/4 (and beyond). s281 was not gaining, and i was pulling away from s281 even in third gear. sad but true
