    Line lock button

What’s everyone using for their line lock activator button? Any pics? I was thinking of running a shift knob with a button on the shifter but thinking it may get in the way. Either way I’d like a clean install and not use the one that came with the hurst kit.

    Radiator support cover

Can anyone point me in the right direction if anyone sells the plastic radiator support cover for a 96 cobra? Hell I’ll even consider an aftermarket metal or carbon fiber one if it’s reasonably priced.. thanks in advance

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Here is the dyno graph with the 2.95 pulley. Cars peak hp was at 6500rpms. Believe the car is at 16.5* of timing and didnt like anymore timing after that. I’m gonna have them throw a 93 octane tune on it. Think i overfilled with setting it up for E85 unless i go with a bigger blower set up or...

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

With a 12% od crank and a 2.95 blower pulley i was thinking of switching to, I’d be spinning 6,400rpm’s over what vortech claims is acceptable at 7000rpm..

How much you guys overspinning your Vortech?

Curious as to how much you guys are overspinning your superchargers to get your results? I have a V1-Ti and will most likely be overspinning approx. 6,400 rpm’s with a 12%od crank and a 2.95 upper at 7000 rpm according to the Vortech calculator. Anyone else overspinning?

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

The shop measured the crank pulley with a dial caliper and it measured 7.50”.. not the stock size crank pulley.. got me wondering if the cams specs are off or not dialed in correctly..

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Are you sure? Sorry… I’m not. I haven’t even seen the crank pulley nor measured it myself. Which ati crank pulley would you suggest for the boost i seek? Or in another words, if it got swapped out with another, which one and how much more boost May i see?

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Just had one of the guys look for a serial number on the crank pulley.. apparently they couldn’t fond one but sent a pic and replied with…. Outside diameter overall is 7 1/4 so I'd say it's 7 inches in the belt groove

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

No haven’t driven it. My tuner/builder is questioning the boost it’s making.. especially since they just had an s trim car there at 16* of timing and 12th s boost pushing 580rwhp. I have full length BBK headers, off road x and slp mufflers.. think the headers are 1 5/8”…

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Yes boost did not change between the two head units… almost identical. Timing i believe was at 19*. My engine setup is in the pic.

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Also have a built stroker, running on E85, short runner intake, imrc delete, Todd Warren cams/springs, V1-ti trim, 8 rib setup…could have made this power by throwing some pistons and rods in the stock block on an s trim

Vortech Ti trim boost with 3.15 pulley

Believe it was a turbo precisions bov at first, changed it to a mini race vortech bypass valve, no change. Blow through setup. Crank pulley is supposedly ati 7.5”… the car is at a reputable shop in STL.
