Not sure if you want coupe or vert, and not sure exactly what you want mileage wise, but I came across this recently: 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle...
90k miles convertible, looks stock
Dude that is a clean looking car and I love how you went with the stock appearances- man that is a spotless engine bay! I also love the glass roof- couldn't find one when I was searching, beautiful car my friend. Be nice to those cars around there who think its a stock 5.0!!!
Wow great looking car L8! I’m partial but I love any color blue- my 2011 Shelby is Kona blue. Thanks for your input as well. My dealer was able to find the Michelin’s but I ended up going with toyo r888r’s all the way around. Had to order the fronts thru a Discount tire locally and the rears...
See that’s the setup I prefer! Yes, stock wheels, 19’s in front and 20’s in back. Will 295/35/20 fit on the stock 9.5” rears? I’d guess yes based on my research but want to be sure...looks like they only only 285/30/20 and 295/35/20 listed as options.
That link to Walmart is only showing...
I figured as much, ha! Would love to see your car on a 10” tire!!!
thanks for your insight, I’ll be calling around trying to find some Toyo’s tomorrow morning.
Good to know- have spent the evening researching...I am leaning the toyo's, my budget is pretty open but I would say 15-1600 for a set of toyo's is around my max
Thank you for that link! It lists the Invo/NT05/Motivo/G2's as options.
The Invo and Motivo only show 295/30r20 as available size
The NT05 only shows 305/30r20
and the G2's are available in 3 sizes.
I really want the Toyo’s but he can’t locate them apparently?
Any thoughts on the Nitto 555 G2’s? Seems like a decently priced option but he cannot get them for 2 weeks :/
Hi guys- so I just pulled my 2011 Shelby (all stock) out of storage and I’ve been pricing new tires with my local contact. Apparently there is a rubber shortage, and the stock OEM size tires aren’t super common, so my guy is having trouble finding what I want. My top two options are the Nitto...
Thank you! I guess it’s better to be over critical than the latter.
update: picked up the Shelby yesterday afternoon! Yes it was a little dusty but I expected worse based on the drivers comments. Overall very happy with the shipping and communication so I would recommend Reliable any time.
I didn’t get anything in writing that it would be covered because honestly, I expected it to sit inside and get a bit dirty anyway. Covering it was a bonus and I had low expectations of that, but based on their reputation for being one of the premier collector car shippers nationwide, I just...
Agreed, and I joked with the driver that even if it was clean I’d wash it anyway. I’d just be flustered that I specifically asked/was told it would be stored inside with the cover on it. The Arizona heat in June/July is not good for that paint- hopefully worst case it was inside without the...
Hey SVTP,
I apologize, I don’t post on here much but I’ve been a member on here for a very long time and I’m a constant user of the forum for help and advice, searching through old threads, etc.- and for that I thank all of you.
Recently, my wife and I moved from Scottsdale, AZ to...
***UPDATE***
So since my initial post 10-11 days ago, I have not had any issues. Drove the car as normal since then, with the occasional moderate driving style. Maybe put 50-60 miles on her.
This past Saturday afternoon I was out on the highway, car had been running for about 25 minutes...
Thank you all for your advice!!! I love this forum...
Update: audio system seems to be completely stock, and there is no fuel pump booster on the vehicle. Drove it this morning, no differently than any other time out and had no issues and no smell...will keep you all updated.
Thanks again!
