I live in St John’s county- north of St Augustine. Been here for 5 years, retired from the military and moved down. I love it- there are drawbacks but that’s true anywhere.
Kind of a bs video. Every state has large cities- and within those large cities are poor areas that are “ghetto”. That being said- people, myself included have flocked to Florida recently for the weather, lack of taxes, and opportunity that isn’t always present in other states. I will say some...
I live 20 minutes North of St Augustine in St Johns county. Love it here- moved from Ohio 3 years ago. It is mostly conservative here, I couldn’t ask for anything better. I think the cost of living is fair and the people/weather are great. For the most part perfect weather for doing stuff...
There was definitely a learning curve. It’s only as fast as me- which isn’t too fast at all. I typically cruise around 20 mph. Definitely much faster people out there. The bars took a few rides to get used to but now I love them and they are much faster. I also installed a water system...
Congratulations- super sharp truck. Look into getting the OEM rims powder coated black. Just got mine done and I’m in love with how it looks. Pic is posted in the trucks thread. Definitely worth it.
The performance numbers have me baffled. I know it’s heavier- but a 17+ tuned 3.5 is putting up the same performance numbers. Obviously that’s on pavement, and a tuned F150 would not perform the same off road. Just seems like the horsepower is off.
It would be a great idea for a post for you to copy what Top Gear did and create a track time thread for all of your cars. I know conditions vary which affects time, but it would be cool to see the context of that 1:31.
And dont be a girl, power load and unload...not of that back it in and drag it off with the rope crap
Yeah- this outlook creates “that guy” at the docks. We have seen 5 boats down here get jacked up because of ego. It takes the same amount of time to use the winch on the trailer and get it...
Honestly, it was easy man. Maybe took me 2 hours, but I took my time, wired up the lights, and made sure everything was perfect. The only issue I ran into, was the screws for the "F" and the "R" were not long enough to really grab and hold the letters. I used better ones I had on hand, and...
Thats awesome. It is nice using the truck for truck duty. My biggest goal with the shocks was to raise the front end, improve the ride, and not have the headlights up look under any combo. Fully loaded with 3 yards of mulch, and it was still perfect, drove perfect, I was super impressed. For...
I have the 5100's at all 4 corners, and tow a boat regularly now, with zero issues. I raised it up to the second highest setting, which I believe was 1.76 inches. There is a very small amount of rake in it, but it is close to level. I have had 3 cubic yards of mulch in it with zero sag, same...
Really sharp. Those shocks are overkill unless you are really using it off road, then I’d question why not just get the Raptor. Hood is a waste, but the stance, rims, tires, and exhaust tip look really good. I’d love to have the money to dump like that.
