Well, I wasted time trying to leave off too much 2-step, tried multiple times changing pressure, struts, etc. First pass 1.41, 5.2 psi, then started shaking the tires. Went back and added 2 psi boost, 2 more tire pressure and softened front struts. Immediately blew tires off. I was running out...
Sorry if this has been posted. Speed By Design's 2015 GT went 9.11@157 MPH!!! Boy these stangs are getting crazy fast. Don't know all the details, but it's the prototype kit with an A6, converter, etc. But a stock long block with only OP gears. Very impressive. Supposed to be available sometime...
Would like to thank Daniel with TSS for his help this weekend! Been fighting suspension tuning, so I left off the foot brake Friday and ran [email protected] (Can't find slip to post). So, Saturday, I forget that I had 2 step set on 2000 rpm (was doing some street testing earlier in the week) Anyway...
I don't internet bash, but when it comes to awesome customer service, I have to spread the word! Possible malfunction on my part, possible malfunction with my controller. No questions asked, Justin just said "I'm overnighting you another one". AND, my fuel system is 2 YEARS OLD! Props where...
After about 30 nasty burnouts at the drag strip and multiple ones on the street (with no line-lock), would it be safe to say that my "squeek squeek squeek" that just popped up, and goes away with slight brake pressure would maybe, possibly, just by chance be because I have glazed my rear rotors?
I went with the 9.5 aluminator a long time ago, as it was the only one that offered the OPG and also Boss valve springs at the time. A very notable racer that makes my turbo kit suggested to go 9.5 and just add more boost. All in all I am happy, as I have made 2 very horrible mistakes that would...
Any vendors working on the main thing that is going to hold back these DI engines of the future...the pump? I figured since the DI engine is finally in a high volume American sports car, it would entice the aftermarket to come up with a solution. I understand the limited production SHO held...
Just wanted to remind my fellow SVTP peeps about the 19th Annual Ford vs Buick event being held Saturday, Oct. 11th, 2014 at Thunder Valley Raceway Park (TVRP) in Noble, OK. It is basically about 8 miles South of the OU campus. Gates open at 8AM. This is the longest running and largest Mustang...
I've been doing this mustang stuff for a while. Boosted of all varieties, NOS (N2O) of all varieties. I have to give props when props are due. I have been fighting my auto turbo for over a year. And I have to give credit where credit is due. Chris Holmes, you may know him on this board as...
Installed the Aluminator. Down on power down low. Did a KAM reset and finally got the car to the dealership to get the Camshaft position relearn done. Car felt really good down low after that. Now, I have these codes that keep popping up. P0345 Camshaft position sensor "A" circuit bank 2, and...
Here are my objective results. DYNOCOM eddy-current dyno. Similar to the Mustang dyno everyone is familiar with. E85. Baseline run on 7000 mile stock engine was 555/520 on 6.9 psi @ 2250 DA. Installed the low compression aluminator and dyno'd the car as is. MY results where: Same exact boost...
Visiting my favorite spot in a few weeks... Reddington Beach. What is a good place to catch some drag racing action on a Friday or Saturday? Bradenton the closest place? Help me out.
Please make a note of the race date guys! Will be held at Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Noble Oklahoma on Oct. 11, 2014. It is basically Ford vs Turbo Buicks and every other GM product besides Chevy. Sticky and details will be posted closer to the race.
Let me first start off by saying that I have identified my lean condition. I had a faulty pump. So, I get a tune from 04sleeper, run the car on 5 psi, and finally get the eboost2 hooked up and crank her up to 7.5 psi. Car is a beast! Get it to the dyno 2 days later only to find out that the car...
Wanted to thank Kevin (04sleeper) for helping me out with an E85 tune on my 2013 twin turbo automatic. If anyone out there is in need of some tuning help for the sometimes tricky 2013 auto's, I would highly recommend discussing things with 04sleeper. Gosh I sure love running the corn!
I have read that the 11:1 comes with Boss valvesprings and that the 9.5:1 does not? Can any of you vendors confirm or deny? I am thinking about a long block purchase and would like the skinny on this stuff, along with what it takes to put in the billet oil gears either way I go. Beefcake? MMR...
I will start this off. Blow By and Beefcake are the shit!!! I called Beefcake today, he knows that I will never buy a blower from him, he knows I am a BBR customer, and he knows that the odds of ME ordering much from HIM are slim to none. He knows I am a turbo guy..... And he still talked to me...
What would be wrong with running the hellion twins at say 15lbs on the 11:1 aluminator? If I get caught with only 91 octane available, simply plug back in the 91 tune and turn the boost all the way down to where it currently is. Am I crazy here?
Read the directions. "Two wires to controler, polarity not a concern." Only problem is that I have TWO controler's for the twin turbo's, I have the one brown and one grey wire coming out of the "gauge" or "pod" on the eboost 2 gauge, and have to deal with a controller for each turbo. Sure wish a...
Not sure this is the correct forum, but hey. I left the gas station and the last Pontiac LS....whatever Firechicken that rolled out of production decided to play. He had exhaust and cam, and all of that other motor mod stuff they do. When it was over, he was cool. So cool, that I went ahead and...
Sorry for the crappy video. Left the GOPRO at home. Wanted to show everyone what 4.5-4.9 lbs of Hellion twin boost looks like in an auto 2013. Notice the pig fat A/F, (just like I wanted it. BBR nailed it!) Yes, wheels and tires are needed. Here are 2 vids of my tire problem!
40-100 spinning...
