No knock on startup. Oil pressure never drops. So far I've been told bearings, lash tensioner and exhaust leak. It's hard because the car is so dang loud. I'd rather spend the money addressing the knock before the exhaust. rustyveteran@lvsvtSN95

Thank you. Mine as well is the passenger side. So replace lash adjuster? I have 150k on the car. Haven't had it long and dont know much of the history of the car. I can tell it's been drove hard and not taken care of. rustyveteran@lvsvtSN95

1998 Cobra. No tap/rattle on start up. Starts when warm. Mostly between 2 & 3k, under load goes away, deceleration goes away. Mostly heard at cruising rpm and acceleration from a stop going through the gears. rustyveteran@lvsvtSN95
