Ditto on all of what HHR said. On LCAs in my opinion, depends on how hard / aggressive you drive it. Ditch the Goodyears for sure - even if u don't drive hard they can be risky especially if u live in cold climates. I got very lucky, as I bought my car in Chicago and had new tires (Michelin)...

I went to 295/35-20 MPSS in the rear. I've experienced no issues with the way I drive (conservative). I wanted a slightly taller tire and the MPSS runs wider than a typical 295 so got some more meat look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My opinion from what I've read if u primarily street drive then u r probably ok, less so if u track it. Not MT, but I just put a 295 on a 10.5 rim. U might want to check MT website for specs on what size rim widths (range of) would work for their 305 tire. My two cents. Sent from my iPhone...
