Heavy surface rust needs to be removed so I can paint both pieces black....any suggestions ?

I recently bought a 2003 Mach 1 wih 13,500 miles / one owner....& all Ive done is install MGW shifter & Mobil1 synthetic ATF......amazing difference !

How strong are these & can they hold up to some mild abuse....like occasional miss shifts.....just put an MGW shifter in mine & still getting used to the difference in shifting.....only one miss shift so far...but hate to do that to my car / hard on the syncros & gears .....it only has 14,000...

14,000 miles like new....when climate control in vent mode set to cold / not A/C...air still feels warm ?

Consumers beware....of plastic intake manifolds , valve covers & engine covers ......this is an attempt for companies to save money, lighten vehicles & make it harder for consumers to work on them selves @ the consumers expense....I love my 2003 Mach 1 aluminum engine that I can see & work on...

Actually a JLT modification.....just got some 4" x 2 ft flexible aluminum dryer vent tubing @ Ace hardware & a 4" dryer / vent scoop & connected the two pieces & ran in from the lower right side of fender well near front tire & ran flex tube portion straight up to meet JLT air...

Anybody done one & how hard is it ?

Waiting on my one owner / 13,500 miles garaged Mach -1 to be delivered next week & am curious how the clutch & shifter is going to feel compared to my old 1986 gt / 5.0.....hope its not too stiff & planning on installing an MGW short throw

I f I had the money I would probably have one of these.....

IMO......all that needs changed is to install a short throw shifter / MGW & maybe Magna flow Cat-backs ? if thats not enough for you , then maybe you should consider a Boss 302 / Shelby ?

These two newer designed mustangs are awesome / power & handling.....but for me & my budget , I am grateful to have my 2003 / Mach-1 & 2007 Honda accord V-6.....two awesome cars...the terminator Cobra also if you need a super charger to get you off ...they both fit in the garage, are paid off ...
