@Vinnie_B Good call, I was really reluctant about cutting wires…. Completed the test I have no continuity between wh/vt rmc33 and any other wire in the plug… it’s gotta be the cluster. I supposed I’ll try one of those mail in repairs first before buying a new cluster….. trying to avoid the trip...
Yeah I got 0v with that test- but I’m just thinking if another wire in same plug is shorted in the harness somewhere I wouldn’t see voltage with that test because it’s unplugged.
@Vinnie_B I am thinking about cutting the wh/vt rmc33 wire 6” from the IPC connector and test voltage with key on. This would rule out it being shorted to any other wire in harness that only gets power when plugged into IPC.
At that point I’ll be more comfortable pinning it on the IPC… Still...
No other faults than P2068. If I clear it the car throws the code within 30 seconds of 2nd key cycle. I followed the attached pinpoint test for B1A76:15
@Vinnie_B Yes I have this document and did the pinpoint test for B1a76:15. I’ve disconnected everything and checked the circuit for open or short to voltage. Everything circuit wise checked out ok. No voltage with IPC and sensors disconnected and key on and less than 5ohms in circuit with...
I did pull the module codes off with forscan. These are the codes that are showing. Some may be showing from when I had key on and sensors unplugged but B1a76 is what was initially showing
Anyone ever had an instrument cluster (IPC) go bad? I’m currently chasing an issue of my car throwing cel P2068 when tank is above half tank. I’ve done all pin point tests from ford diagnostics which points towards cluster. Tank is nearly full, back probing driver side I am seeing .3volts on...
The problem starts to appear above 9psi. I’ve thought about adding electric cutouts before the xpipe and try that.
My dual pumps are always on I’m not running a pressure switch for the 2nd. AFR seems unaffected when the power loss occurs
Who tuned your car at shopct?
I used to bring my...
I thought so too until I browsed through install pics of the on3 kit and found they are all .68 AR. You can find it stamped on the hotside. You wouldn’t happen to have old pics of the hotside from your on3 kit would you??? Lol. I’m still contemplating changing the turbos though.
I did change to the magnaflow straight through axle backs thinking it might have been the Corsa extremes. I guess I could try an h pipe.
The turbos are .68ar
Sorry should have been more clear. Manifold meaning stock intake manifold. I have the upgraded cast turbo manifolds from on3. I have all 3” after turbo. Catless xpipe, lth ota pipes, Corsa extremes axle back.
The power drop was barely there in the 5-6 psi range. It starts to occur above 9psi. The 600whp is 9psi.. The graph with the largest drop was just under 12 psi. Fueling, afr, and boost stayed flat. The link has boost logged. They are supposed to be .96ar. Wondering now if on3 shipped me...
So I finally got my car running and tuned on on3 TT kit. Car is showing major power loss after 6800rpm. Looking for some thoughts….tuner says possible valve float or restriction of stock mani??
