There are other tires on out cars. Shelby’s have good years. Gts had all season and summer tires I see them all jerk to the side. I fear the auto guys have a harder time recovering when it happens. Manuals unless you stay in it should be able to whip it back in shape.

I no longer run this diff it’s not what I had hoped for, too race car like. Back to the traclok with carbon clutches. It will never be a oe application like the Torsten has been.

Not all of us have the Torsten diff, just good old clutch packs. Still seems to happen to all types. I have a feeling is suspensión geometry and loading under power and unloading. It’s a handful at times.

Thanks, These cars seem to kick hard to the side when they find traction or when they hit the next gear and again finding traction or when hitting a bump. With my manual I am able to correct any most issues but can the auto guys do the same?

What is the undeniable factor in S197 cars breaking loose at moderate speeds or when tire spinning then finding grip.
Bad drivers
Automatic gear box
Quirky factory solid axle geometry inherent to S197
Tires
Too much power
Improper suspension mods
Traction control making this worse
Stability...
So it’s a Chevy Colorado front with a Tacoma rear. Meh but it’s good to have options, give it an affordable diesel and it will sell well.

Your long tubes are helping a bunch. Still haven’t dynoed but your tuner did ok by limiting you to 6800rpm on 47# you will go super lean past that. I just turned timing down. But still have revs to 7500 for oil pump gears sake. Great mileage count on your set up glad it can take a beating...

Not sure if it’s a repost.

I’m still on 47s I ran out of injector at the same rpm past it. I just turned down the timing I won’t make good peak but I agree 10lbs 47s don’t cut it.

I live in MA so property taxes have sky rocketed, industrials, tech and health care are booming. Fundamentals don’t make sense right now but still owning a home outright has huge benefits, and if you were to invest the potential payment. Monthly average cost basis helps you during down times...
Thanks Mike Im well aware and while just wanted elaborate on the fact on it’s not a great amount if you look at the numbers in the grand scheme.

Show me how a mortgage is completely tax deductible, when you do your taxes show me how much of that interest is coming back, this is misinformation and a way for ppl to hold on to mtgs with the idea you get it back, it’s nominal. Paying off the house allows you to have cash flow I know most ppl...
Awesome story for the average guy... that’s all we need to do drive an exotic for a week and tell our story to our grand kids

You have lofty goals for power. But you can pull timing and make it all work. You might not even have the density in the air to need a BAP.

Yeah I want to run 265 35 19s but they are shorter sidewalls from 255 40 19s. I got 305 30 19s for the rear, but still torn to sell them or not if I keep them I'll need to buy the 265 35 19. I wanted to see how it looks. There is glare on that pic if you can a better one would be great. No rush...
Bump it up to 7500 or 8000 shift at 7000 and stay off the limiter so you don't hurt the oil pump gears and go down in gear for a better driving experience
