Just an update. The shop said having some flakes in the oil is normal. Being that it isn't grinding or popping out of gear and the clutch release is super high and it stinks they think just replacing the clutch will solve the problem. does anyone disagree?
That is what I am afraid of. I may be able to pick up a magnum for under $3000 new. I was told 6 hours labor to pull and replace. I’m looking at about 4,000 if I go that route. The other choice is a auto swap. Or do I cut ties and get something cheap and trade it?
well guys, I think I may need to rebuild or replace my transmission. Lots of flakes in the fluid and really hard to get into gear. Do I fix it or upgrade? Buy used? I wasn’t really planning on having to fix the transmission.
Hi guys,
I've caught the mod bug big time but I am wanting to do safety modifications first. Being a convertible anything faster than a 13.49 up here needs a cage. I'm planning on doing a 2650 or a whipple 2.9. What kind of cost for labor am I looking at if I go the cage route.
Thank you!
Guys,
The convertibles seem to run much hotter in the summer then other cars. What do you guys do outside of tinting windows to keep these cars cool?
My wife refuses to ride the car because of how hot it gets on the inside, even with the A/C blasting
Thank you!
The reason I ask is I have the opportunity to trade my multi owner super clean 03 cobra convertible with 65k miles for a 1 owner 2000 bone stock lightning. I’m considering the lightning mainly because it’s an auto and wife absolutely refuses to learn a manual.
I want to keep the cobra but...
I have a convertible that is cat less with long tubes and a Mac Pro chamber h pipe, with stingers and it is mind numbing loud. It’s getting to the point where I can’t drive it for long periods of time. What suggestion do you have for quieting it down? I had an x pipe with cats and I didn’t like...
Which one do you think will be worth more down the road? How many have you own or have owned both? Which one did you enjoy more? I understand what section I am posting in as I lean towards the terminator. However, I am considering a low mile lightning it it’s place.

what color of wheel do you guys think looks best on a redfire cobra? Mine specifically is a convertible with a tan top. I have polished chrome 17s currently. I know black is popular but am thinking of going a different route
This for an 03 cobra. Really simple question, which of these would be less strain on internals and drive train for a higher horse power build on stock motor internals. Centri or turbo? Not wanting to exceed 700whp.
im at 500/536 and have 3.73s. Does anyone have good experience with these tires? Will they hook or are they a waste of money? I’d be getting a stock 275
