so I can just bolt my 2 valve oil pump pickup to that pump then? I heard something about oil pans being different but I will be using the 2V oil pan unless that's not the way to go. So if I use the 2V pan and Pickup obviously i'm good but will it bolt up?

do you file the cam or the gear? if you do the gear I'm assuming you need to use a half moon style file to get the outer surfaces of the gear? The gears I had last time had a key that was a separate part
