So I'm talking to this guy at a shop about getting my gears switched out and I tell him I want to go 4.56s. He says he won't do it because with that gear ratio there are only one and a half teeth contacting the pinion at any one given time. Which makes it weak and very likely to grenade itself...

I just picked up this tuner from American muscle... it tracks your 0-60 times as well. After I did my run, got my time. I looked up normal 2001 cobra 0-60 times. 4.7 second 0-60 stock? Does that sounds right? That's nowhere near what I got... 8.17 second. kinda concerned.

I have basic bolt ons. Cai, catback exhaust, No gears. Would a tuner really make that big of a difference for me or are they more for more advanced mods. Iv hurd very mixed reviews. Some people make them out to be amazing and a huge difference. Some say they didnt do anything.

This is getting old. I still have a miss at low rpm. It was 110 degrees today and its REALLY noticeable when its this hot. To the point of when I'm starting up hill it threatens to stall out. The past few cold days I RARELY notice the miss. So what could make it miss like this mostly when its hot

Looks like the guy before me cranked the side stud, that gets direct power from the batt, down too tightly and broke the plastic holding it down... along with pulling the pins out of the bottom distribution plate..... I was able to C clamp it closed enough to get it to start and get it home but...
Just bought my car recently and I just took a road trip to vegas(224 miles) and I got surprisingly good gas mileage. Just wanted to see what the rest of you got.
I went 224 miles on 6.9 gallons which comes out to 32.5 mpg!? Sounds like a crazy good number to me.
So I still didn't get rid of my miss.
