Does ARP or any other manufacturer make an aftermarket rod bolt that will work with stock GT or Boss rods?
From looking at them, it appears like the boss rod uses the same bolt as a GT. The bolts don't really look like they are "top shelf" stuff to be honest. I've just got my reservations...
I just talked to American Muscle's tech line and they said they do not have any tuning available for engine swaps. Is there anyone that has done a tune using the ford racing control pack?
For what it's worth I'm in central Missouri.
What's the best price you guys have seen on the Boss rod and piston assembly? I'm going that route on my fox body swap. It sounds to me like that setup is probably strong enough to hold about as much as the stock block can reliably handle.
Anybody know where I can find a manual for rebuilding a "coyote"? I've built motors before, but never a dohc. I'm needing torque specs, clearance tolerances, how to reinstall the camshafts etc.
I know the bobweight for balance is different from a GT and the Boss crank has a 9 bolt flange, but is the Boss crank lighter or stronger?
I'm assuming that the Boss rod/piston is lighter than the powder rod / hyper piston from a GT?
