I'm guessing our 17 year old genius came into that corner at 120, saw the cop, and either lifted abruptly or slammed on the brakes mid-corner and it just threw the ass end around faster than he or the car's stability control could save it. Would be interesting to see if he had the TC/SC turned...
Due to the production issues around the steering wheel and shifter mechanism many 2019 orders were delayed so owners weren't driving them as much as they would have like to have been driving them. I don't think I've heard of any issues with excessive oil consumption, but I don't know how many...
I put my 6 year old in the back of mine happily, but on the passenger side where I have to move the passenger seat forward a bit to give her more legroom as her feet seem to hang right at the same level as the seat base keeping her from using the footwell for her feet. Perhaps your 8 year old...

Sold car to move to a GT350. Swapped parts off of it before trading it in. Only what's listed below is for sale, anything else seen in the pics already sold or was traded in with the...
Congrats. What mods does it have done besides the rear gears? While you were buying yours I was busy ripping parts of of my 660whp GT500 so I could trade it in on Tuesday.
Absolutely loving the GT350. Miss the low end torque at times, but literally everything else is better. Considering a gear...
Haven't had time to get any good photos yet, but they will be coming soon.
2018 Chassis #0006 - Recaros, Navi, Black with White stripes. All stock for now except for the pedal spacer mod
An option you left off that one of my friends swears by is his Vortech kit. Doesn't fix the low end torque issue, but has a smooth power delivery that matches the Voodoo engine just at a higher horsepower level.
Of course I'm also friends with the boys over at Fathouse and their twin kits are...
Ford made the press release with the new aero, new wheels, and the switch to PSC2 tires back in like June, but still nothing allowing you to order a new 2019 it seems. Anyone heard anything from a local dealer about when the banks might open?
There's a thread over on one of the 6G forums bout an owner trying both 4.11 and even 4.56 gears. I'd be very tempted by the 4.56 option as 80mp is still only like 2700 in 6th, but it would make the lower gears more useable on the street.
There may be some unique builds out there (White convertible with silver striped recaros shows only 4 built in the year for example), but they built 1800 more cars in 2012 than they did in 2009 making unique specs more rare.
Steve isn't on this site to my knowledge, nor does he take direct requests. I just happened to have a very unique car that he chose to weigh in on completely on his own accord. The production numbers are available here:
https://www.svtperformance.com/forums/threads/gt500-production-numbers.990927/
based off of the production numbers pulled from here on SVT performance and then just happened to be able to ask Steve who runs the Shelby registry. Mine was a unique scenario where we were talking about rare models and i mentioned mine and he just chimed in on his own accord on the Team Shelby...
Looked at them as a daily, but looking to go up market from the Shelby into a new sports car.
I'll have to grab one at home tonight and upload, missed this rule. Apologies.
$32,000 OBO - 2009 Shelby GT500 - 40,000 miles - Verified true 1 of 1 option combo for 2009.
Looking to sell as is if possible as I'd hate to take this great car back to stock. Reliable 660whp, cold A/C , fully functional everything. Mileage is primarily highway miles. Car has been from Atlanta...
Just put Gen 2 (non R) on the dyno a week ago with a 2.5 pulley and a twin 67mm throttle body. 659whp through the stock exhaust manifolds and a lethal x pipe.
So you're on a 2.4 upper and a 15% overdrive pulley? What fuel are you running? I've got the exact same setup aside from a 123mm intake vs your 127 and I'm still on stock lower and a 2.5 upper.
