Ain't that the truth! I've got a great dealership from sales to service. They only sell these cars to repeat customers and at MSRP. Unfortunately, they don't have a '22 allocation for me.
I found a base at Ford of Port Richey. Salesman emails me a price of 126k. 44k over sticker. Offers...
Proably should of; but, I drive my cars. Close to the beach with some light/small gravel/sand. Worried about the C'F wheels. Plus my driveway blows trying to get in plus after open heart surgery, I wouldn't mind the extra 3/4 of an inch higher ride height.
With the supply chain being what it is, this would make sense. Christ, how long has FCA been building the Challenger/Charger. They've gotten every penny back on machine work needed. All things considering, the S550 assembly line is running as smoothly as could be expected. Why hump it up...
Amazing what two months does. I was looking to trade my '21 CFTP (vinyl stripes) for a base model. Two dealers in Florida offered me 10-12k under sticker (85-87k) while they both wanted 20k over and wouldn't budge off of it.
And that's where I sit. Great relationship with my dealer, CFTP for...
I got two hospital stays as well. Two weeks after going under the knife, I collapsed in my driveway due to a few blood clots in my lungs. I'm almost 12 weeks post-op and start rehab next week. How long after surgery did it still hurt to cough or sneeze?
I have a 2021 CFTP in Rapid Red if you're interested. White vinyl stripes. 900 miles. I can't get in it since having open heart surgery. 105k. PM if you want.
I've been through these ADM's for years now and have never once paid them. Back in '99 with the first IRS rear, they had them. Then in '03 for the 10th Anniversary, they had them. In '04, they had rebates to help dealers move them. Remember the '08 and '09 GT500 KR's, yep, massive ADM's. By...
Just keep in mind, if you want to use the C/F wheels on a base car, you're swapping out all 20 wheel studs. Rumor has it the C/F wheel studs run around $800!
It probably would of; but, I had the chance to order a CFTP to my specs for MSRP and I took it. And personally I think the wing is what offsets the car, not so much the wheels.
It's a daily driver for me. Grant it, I only work a few days a week; but, I don't want to damage them or get a stone caught between the brake caliper and the front wheel.
Has anyone swapped out their carbon fiber wheels for the base ones? I know it's not just a simple swap. The CFTP cars have longer wheels studs in the front due to the thicker wheel hub. Guys going to c/f wheels are either replacing the studs or the hubs. Unsure on the length of the rears...
On the Ford Preview Order Summary. From what I read on the Blue Oval Forum:
"The highest priority that a Dealer can use for a retail order is 10. An order with a “10” priority code will schedule ahead of an order with an “11” priority code, etc. This allows Dealers to prioritize the order in...
