Has anyone swapped out their carbon fiber wheels for the base ones? I know it's not just a simple swap. The CFTP cars have longer wheels studs in the front due to the thicker wheel hub. Guys going to c/f wheels are either replacing the studs or the hubs. Unsure on the length of the rears. I'm thinking I either have to go with open lug nuts or swap out the front hubs for base ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why are you pulling the CF rims off?

It's a daily driver for me. Grant it, I only work a few days a week; but, I don't want to damage them or get a stone caught between the brake caliper and the front wheel.

Then why buy a CFTP? You're pulling the most unique thing about the car off, seems like a base would've made more sense.

It probably would of; but, I had the chance to order a CFTP to my specs for MSRP and I took it. And personally I think the wing is what offsets the car, not so much the wheels.

Just keep in mind, if you want to use the C/F wheels on a base car, you're swapping out all 20 wheel studs. Rumor has it the C/F wheel studs run around $800!

That's nothing compared to what those rims cost

    I'd just go open-ended lugnuts.

That's seems like the easiest solution and allows a quick change back to the C/F wheels.

I was going to say the same thing. Some high quality ARP or MSI studs and open lugs. The only way to fly, strength.
