That’s actually a really good point. I don’t know about Indiana but in Florida you need insurance but you can get anything registered. If it can’t be insured you’re SOL.

Do you even have the title? I know that if you have it, it’s not hard to get it registered as a rebuilt title. Your answer would lead me to believe that you don’t have the title.

The only way to remove air and moisture is to vacuum it down and refill. I know you don’t fill it very often but I’d at least rent a set of manifold gauges to get an accurate reading on head pressures. Only reading the low side is not telling you much.

I like to use this for reference. The low and high side pressure depend on ambient temps.

I’m not sure how it works in California but in Florida Leo’s wouldn’t be able to enter the property without a warrant. A warrant is drafted and approved from probable cause. I suspect there isn’t enough probable cause to get a warrant and that’s why no one is doing anything.

My 01 has a crappy dorman intake on it I’d like to get rid of. Since Ford discontinued the 4.6 2v manifold it’s been slim pickings. I’d like a metal intake like an Edelbrock or Typhoon, though I’d prefer a Typhoon just because it has a close to stock operating range. Pm me what you have thanks.
