how important are the rear o2 sensors to the ecm.is it going to make a difference if i get rid of them and go to mil eliminators.will effect gas mileage.

as you guys know i got this 99 cobra with bassanni catted x and bassanni cat back with the novi1000 at stock boost..there are aftermarket injectors and mass air meter on it..it seems to idle and run fine aside from getting 35 miles on half a tank..no eec codes are found...wtf..please help.ide...
