For sale, all EFI parts off my 1990 7up car, 342 stroker engine. All parts are in excellent condition, but used, so they aren't shiney. Car has been driven little in the past four years (that's when I bought the parts)... I travel too much. Dyno'd almost 400 rwhp thru a restricted exhaust. Got...
New in the box, never installed:
Paul's High Performance Line Lock Kit, part number 511040. Cost $300 new. Sell for $225.
Bought for my 2003 Cobra, but never got around to installing it.

I've actually got two of these, as I've converted both my 302 based engines over to 342's so I had to switch flywheels also.
(2) Ford Racing M-6375-C302 Billet steel flywheel, 50 oz., 157-tooth. Both are excellent, on daily drivers cars, both have just been picked up from the machine shop...
Who is someone in the Dallas area that can install a 4, 6,or 8 point roll cage in my 03 convertible? They must be an excellent craftsman or they will not touch my car. Has anyone had theirs done, and if so, so you have any pictures? Thanks in advance!
I must say I was already impressed with what SSM 17542 did to the car. Easy start, nice idle, no stalls, no sometimes cold weather warmups hiccups. But previously on long trips between Waco and Dallas I'd average high 18's mpg, which is good for the power the car is making. Made my first road...
Well, I had my 03 Cobra processor reflashed yesterday at the Ford dealership, then packed up the processor and KB's chip and overnighted them both to Kenne Bell. Ken at KB emailed me today and the reflash is totally all new code, looks nothing like the previous code. So, he said it was going...
Well, I over nighted my processor (had Ford reflash it) and their chip back to Kenne Bell yesterday. They emailed me today and said it is going to take days for them to figure out the code. They said the new flash code is totally different and they've ever seen it before. So, looks like my...
Great service after the sale. This is their email response to me regarding the Ford reflash. For me to send them my computer (hard to drive the car without one) so they can get the new codes plus charge me? Who is servicing whom? Not real please with them right now. Their email...
Picked the Cobra up today after having the Viper 5th and 6th gears installed and all I can say is my math was right on. Cruising down the interstate now at 75mph is 1,750 rpms. Finally a real overdrive gear for trips.
5th gear at 2,000 rpm is 60 mph and 2,250 rpm is 70 mph. So now I can use...
Does the console have to be removed to change shifters in the 03 Cobra's or just the area around the shifter... like does that part come out and give enough room to work?
Thanks, Fred
Just curious, but I ordered a new 5th & 6th today from D&D Performance for the Cobra. They are .74 and .50, as I grew tired quickly of the .62 6th gear in the Cobra. Anyone else done this upgrade?
Fred
Got the new Kenne Bell 13psi setup installed along with the boost-a-pump and KB cold airkit. Looks good, runs good... except for when slowing down to stop at red light or stop signs. Also, the idle can drop/stump between gear shifts (if you coast with the cluth depressed too long).
Half the...
The popular theory of 03 Cobra owners is that you can't run wheel spacers that aren't hubcentric due to the excessive stress placed on the wheel studs. Some people report horror stories of their studs breaking off while driving (re-torqued ever?).
That being said, many Fox owners run North...
Installing the Lightin pulley on my Cobra this Tuesday... most say no chip is needed. Any thoughts?
K&N FIPK comes in later this month. I've already installed the complete Bassani midlength headers, x-p-pipe minus cat, and cat-back system with 4" tips (so now my "service engine soon"...
