    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

Shoot them an e-mail and ask. Also check craigslist and post WTB ads on all the forums. Also got your FB marketplace listings. A stretch but you never know. Just keep looking. It took me some time to find mine.

    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

Ahhh got ya. Yeah I'm still trying to figure out mounts. I have poly mounts now, but I heard they actually raise the engine over stock mounts. I haven't test fit the engine yet, so I don't know how much trouble I'll have fitting everything. Time will tell. A tubular K member isn't out of the...

    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

eBay probably 5-10 years ago. But hps was still making intakes at that point. I know they do a run once they get enough orders, but maybe they stopped making them now all together?

    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

I think he used a 5.4 3V intake which wouldn't work for the OP. Far as I know, the HPS is the only one that will fit under the stock hood of our cars. All the other intakes are larger and require an aftermarket hood. I'm running a ported HPS on my 5.4 swap car.

    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

Certainly would, but it won't help floor pan clearance or steering shaft clearance. I got the flaming river steering shaft to help. It gets rid of the rag joint and frees up space. I'm still debating on the k member, but it all adds up price wise. Remember the 5.4 is taller and wider so the...

    TKO600 VSS to OSS swap

Hey all, hoping someone has come across this and might be able to help out. In a nut shell I've got a 2000 GT I'm putting a TKO600 in, but it's an older unit from 2004 and is set up for VSS. Does anyone know if this is as simple as changing a few things in the tune, or am I going to have to swap...

    5.4 2v PARTS NEEDED

I've been trying to get someone to make drop engine mounts for years. Still no luck. I hate K-member spacers and those drop mounts would help line up the exhaust better with the 5.4, so everything doesn't hit the floor pans and K-member. Would also help hood clearance.

Does Changing a S/C pulley require a new tune

Absolutely no gauges in this car which blows my mind. Needless to say one will be going in either way. The first engine in the car got blown apart and they apparently changed the tune a little bit to make it "safe" but the supercharger pulley stayed the same size so I'm questioning that.

Does Changing a S/C pulley require a new tune

Ok guys, I know this is a stupid basic question, but I'm fairly new to boost and messing with a buddies car he just picked up and we don't want to blow it apart. That being said this may seem crazy to some, but he would like to lower boost levels. Car is a 2006 GT with a 2.3 whipple on a stock...

    Tork Tech Kit

I did think about that but my heart was pretty dead set on the whipple. It will cost more and probably be harder to install because ill need a hood too. But if the tork tech kit turns out to not be the nicest fit and finish ill probably go the pro charger route.

    Tork Tech Kit

I'm in NJ, so no carb stamps required for inspection. My crank is also already tapped for a stud but I still worry. But good info I appreciate the detailed response. Any other kits on the market that would work with my whipple and the 5.4 sohc other than a lightning manifold?

    Tork Tech Kit

Oh and one other thing. What are your thoughts on how they piggy back the pulley? I like that the blower has a separate belt, but don't like that it's kicked further out than stock. That's giving the blower a lot of leverage on the crank snout and I'm a little worried about snapping it or...

    Tork Tech Kit

Hey all, I know there has been a lot of controversy around this kit in years past, but I am really interested in it. I read all the downsides in the thread from 2013, but was wondering if anyone knows if they have updated this kit to make it any better since then. It really sounds like a poorly...

You guys making big power... timing set questions

Hey all this might not be the perfect spot for this but I figured it would work. Long story short I'm doing a 5.4 SOHC swap on a GT and looking at making 6-700 WHP. I know not ridiculous by today's standards, but it's tripling the factory power output of this engine so I have a question. What...

Anyone Running Afco Coilovers and or their K-Member?

It would be nice to lose the weight but I have to weigh what makes sense. I want something reliable, not a race car for the street that I have to constantly keep up on. I'll just lay off the pizza and donuts instead.

Anyone Running Afco Coilovers and or their K-Member?

Good point about it being quite a bit lighter. Maybe I should just stick with the stock K-member for my own peace of mind, I honestly don't care about the weight, I just want more room to fit my headers.

Anyone Running Afco Coilovers and or their K-Member?

I think my major concern is not the coilovers as much as the K-member and A-arms. I've read of a few guys that had K-members and or a-arms break on them from street use, but I don't know if that was the mild steel ones or not. Welds breaking from pot holes and such were the issues I've seen. I...

Anyone Running Afco Coilovers and or their K-Member?

Thinking of picking up the K-Member and double adjustable coilovers. The car is mainly a street car so I want to be sure the K-member is ok for street use. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Safe to use on the street or is this a track only type setup?

Welded, 9" big housing ends, powdercoated Ford 8.8 SRA

Bump for the 55" housing. I'm knocking $100 off to get it gone. This is a steal for all the work done to this thing. $550 picked up. I can ship but you have to pay freight. Depending where you're at freight will be $125-$175 most likely.

Welded, 9" big housing ends, powdercoated Ford 8.8 SRA

Yeah people keep saying I'm out of my mind for what I'm asking. Obviously people who have never done this before. I just sold the 56.25" one this week. Guy was so happy he found it. Said he was being charged that much just for the welding and straightening work, nevermind buying a rear and...
