O/R X-Pipe for BBK Long Tubes?

So BBK still makes the long tubes for 96-98 Cobras, but they no longer offer the matching X pipe without cats. Only option now is high flow cats.

Anyone have experience with these Flowtech X pipes and know if they fit up with the BBK long tubes?

I bought a stainless x-pipe off ScamAzon for like $50

Pipe is pipe and you can always cut and weld where needed

I heard that epa cracked down on manufacturing off road mid pipes idk if that’s true or not but I can see them pulling that and doing what all the other alphabet agencies do by trying to make law

Yes the EPA made O/R pipes illegal & now they're illegal to sell without cat converters

It’s ridiculous I have zero I mean zero emission control devices left on my car I removed everything I’m just glad I live in a county that doesn’t check I’d say just remove your mid pipe cut the cats off and weld in some straight pipe in its place sell the cats and buy a welder lol

Thanks fellas! I found a guy locally with a BBK off-road X pipe, for long tubes, for sale that came off his 96 Cobra. Sounds easier than trying to find a new one and hoping it fits up.

Mine is plugged into the rear drivers side O2. I don’t run rear O2s at all.

Same here so this mid pipe has a bung for it? The one I was looking at is the 3 inch stainless version for the long tubes as long as there’s a bung on the driver would be perfect as right now I run my front o2 on the headers my wideband into my off road mid pipe driver side and the passenger one is plugged off

The one I got from them has 2 bungs for the rears. I assume they all have them but might want to email them to confirm.

Oh they did, luckily I saw this coming back in early early 2020 and found THE last auction for BBK Off-Road H-Pipe on eBay, and I bought it! Should've bought a few more just in case, but I was luckily one of the last few that was able to find them. By that time too I might add, BBK themselves told me they stopped making the Off-Road variants. Around that same time I placed my order for my Long Tubes and with covid going full tilt at that time, I had to wait over 6 months for them to finally getting around to making my darn headers!!! But, finally got 'em in and installed and it's been great times ever since!

I'd suggest a reputable exhaust shop and have them take their measurements and fab up a the next best thing. When I do my next project, that's probably gonna have to be the route I take.

So does this mean in another 5 years, I may be able to get major bucks for my 94/95 BBK off road H for LTs and my BBK catted H for LTs?

LMFAO…. Glad I still have both as well as the stock 94 catted H and another stock 94 H that appears to retain cats…

and a 86-93 BBK off-road H for LTs…. That’s gotta be worth at least Fox 5.0 GT40 upper intake bucks…. LOL..

HA! Nah. I’m a Revit HVAC designer who doesn’t have emissions requirements and wants to avoid catalytic converters completely.

Literally the first thing I did to my car since it was bone stock sans a JLT CAI

Went on ScamAzon & snagged the aforementioned x-pipe, hacked all SIX cats off, added some flow 40's, welded in a full 2.5" stainless exhaust

Easiest 30hp+ gain ever
