**** me. I sheared to splitter mounts yesterday in practice and toasted the splitter. We got 16 laps in total.

Ben would've been in the 12s today, and I would've been 4-5ish seconds off his pace. Yesterday it was 85 degrees and humid and we ran 2:14 and 2:20 respectively. Today it's 50 degrees and perfect.

Battling a few issues. CAN communication to the new dash is sending some funky stuff. Making the info over CAN jump around. Making the car unable to upshift at WOT and would sporadically not downshift.

**** old cars. Might just track the GTD next year.

Recap:

Even with the shittiness of the car breaking in practice, it was a good weekend. In the couple of laps I got, the car felt really good and my left foot braking improved tenfold. We're going to work on the setup a little bit to get it a little pointier in the slow corners, and we should be set.

My wife had fun and multiple times said she was sorry the car was busted but it was fun because we got to watch a lot of the driving together, so that was worth some brownie points.

Of course hung out with @treynor at the track and was able to pick his brain. Hush hush..but he's going to run the MkIV there next year and break all the records. Ran into @JJackson515 Friday night at dinner. I wasn't overly talkative because my car had just broke, but he's got thick enough skin I knew he wouldn't care. I spotted his parachute on his R8 from 2 blocks away haha Then on Saturday @AustinSN and his wife came out as well.

I'll definitely be back and will be ready. We started a list of things that need to be fixed/changed. I have a bunch of club events/practice stuff through April and May, but nothing major until June. We'll get it fixed. It definitely helped my spirits some when the guys in the garage behind us had 50 hours of wiring and tear down in their car by Sunday morning and it still wasn't running.
