Had to go through this a few years ago and sold my Procharged Boss 302 for an Audi S6.
How do you like the Audi? I have a supercharged Boss I don't drive that often and could get rid of it if I can ever bring myself to do it. Have thought about a nice German sedan. My wife and I will be taking a lot of road trips to Kansas when my daughter starts college this fall.

I’ve comptemplated selling my Cobra. But I w had it for 10 years and think I might regret if I did. Would definitely like a 13-14 GT500. As far as adding to my collection I’m weird I want a 65-68 Corvair convertible Turbo. My grandpa had one non turbo but a 63. Also wouldn’t mind a 18-23 5.0 A10.

We have a lot of cars, but what I can say, is that every car that was not a basic trade in or lease turn in, I have regretted selling (in particular, a 89 saleen, SSP Kansas HP, and 93 RX-7 R1, that I bought new). Luckily Ive kept many. When I think about selling something, I realize then it will be gone, and unlikely to be able to replace it (I enjoy rare versions of cars).... SO I stand by, and dont sell. I could easily own 100 cars, if space allowed (glad it doesn't)

Right now a case of monster wouldn't be far off from what it would take. Once I fix it I'm sure I'll want to hold on to it again.

The "affordable" dream car is a GTR. The real dream car is an R8.

Make sure she gets you in to go see a basketball game or two, Allen Fieldhouse is pretty neat.
Definitely...I grew up in KC and never made it to a KU basketball game it's something I've always wanted to do. Also considering coming out to watch KU play CU at Arrowhead.

For me, I love and enjoy what I have, from a 1962 Thunderbird to a 2020 GMC 3500HD. My nature is to select cautiously, and then keep improving the suspension and handling of the cars and trucks that I have.

Racing all started with my 2012 GT500. I first did autocross with it. It handled very well, and I will never sell it.

My temptation is to build a new Stock Car to road race, with ALL the good stuff. I keep putting parts aside to make it happen.

Right now I road race my 55 car in the photo:

These Stock Cars look unwieldy, but they are amazingly fast and handle very well.

I will never sell my 93 Cobra. I had an offer for my low-mile Terminator and contemplated selling it. I looked at C6z’s and WS6 Trans Ams to replace it. But I also looked at a low-mile ‘96 Impala SS, a Grand National, and a Factory Five Cobra. I decided to keep what I have.
That said, maybe one day I will sell the Terminator and ‘91 notchback and replace them with a 911.
Cars are like women, there are so many different ones that I’d like to try, but the one you wind up keeping is the one you want to trade in for something else.
