Whats up gang...long time no chat...busy on my end but things are finally calming down. Sold the Blackwing a few weeks back after having it on consignment at my buddies dealer.

Didn't really want to get anything right away as it's still winter and I will be gone on business most of march. Plus, I REALLY love my Braptor and it is the best winter vehicle I have ever had.

My oldest son (who just got out the corps last year) has been on the prowl trying to find a somewhat sporty car and he insisted on a v8 no matter what this time...he's getting older so I told him I would help him look.
We ended up deciding on a 94 vette that has been well maintained with 95k on the odo...car is stock other than intake and exhaust...runs great, no leaks (other than the targa top) body is pretty good but being a 30 year old car it has minor issues...center cluster fades in and out so he ordered a rebuilt one and we plan to put that in on Tuesday. Good news is, tons of parts are available if he needs them.

Here's a pic...

I noticed when searching for his, that c8 prices have really come down...just like the rest the of the market with the exception of a few cars. When I bought the BW that same dealer had a dam near new 23 Z51 convert anniversary that I saw...so I decided to look and see if they still had it...they did. When I saw it they had it listed for 135,000...window sticker is 101k.

When I looked today they had it listed for 93k and it had been at the dealer nearly a year...so I text the sales manager who I bought the BW and my wifes escalade...low balled him 80k. He shot back at 83k and I went and bought it...lol.

So now we both have black vettes...lol. Here's a few dealer pics of mine. Drove it home and am very impressed with the interior and power...the z06 must be a real hoot considering the power added on top of a z51 car. This car is literally the same exact feel as my mclaren mp412c...except its much more modern interior and not as fast...but chevy REALLY copied that car to make the c8...

pics...and yes, dragy soon.

pretty cool. I’ve considered a corvette because my daughter’s other grandpa is in a large club here, and i figure that is a good, clean, old-fashioned hobby that would be good for her to be around. I’m not a car show guy, but they are all really nice and being quite a bit older than me, i do enjoy their stories and cars some of them have saved over the years.

just gotta figure out when it’s ok to put her in the front seat…

A friend just bought a C7 Stingray theft recovery with 30K miles for stupid cheap money. It's in decent condition and runs out smooth to redline in at least 1st through 3rd gear. ;)

A little paint touch up, minor plastic trim replacement, and new wheels/tires and one would think it's a regular, garage kept used C7.

I’ve been wanting a later c4 for a few years.

I would like an LT1 collectors edition. Honestly I think I would take one of these over a ZR1 just because the cost of maintaining the cammer scares me.

C4’s are actually starting to grow on me.

Had one, it was stock. I'd go to the beach and try to cruise the strip. They have a piss poor cooling design.
Lastly, 5.0 fox would spank these ruthlessly.
