I haven't, however I hold the pistol my moliddle finger doesn't ride that little spot.

It is sharp, I agree.

i hear that. It catches the very end of the part that turns into the palm (Since i try to “choke up” as high as possible into the trigger guard and beaver tail). Weird. Never experienced this with other guns.

Got the slide back in the mail today. NC engravers did the work and did a great job. About 8 or 9 days turnaround including shipping both ways. 120 bucks for cut and cerakote. Would recommend 100%

Im kidding bro… Holosun has great stuff. Its actually quality stuff just at a more budget friendly price. But for a staccat, I would for sure go SRO….
The new Holosun 507comp is a great optic an one of the most sought after. Absolutely love mine.

Hey everyone. I just did a quick video with a shooting comparison of the Stealth Arms Platypus and Staccato C2. I will be doing a table top review later, It wasn't the fairest of comparisons as I had an optic on the Platypus. I would be very appreciative if you guys would like and subscribe to my channel. It would be very helpful to me.

I have a Holosun on my CCW - a Sig P365. No complaints, it works great. I think higher end guns deserve a good American optic, but I can't say they're objectively better...

Check out my post (right above your initial post) and tell me what your experience is, since it could also apply to you.

I don’t experience that, but there is a sharp edge. The part of my middle finger (close to the palm) is jammed right underneath that and is mostly protected by my massive glock knuckle.

What i get, every once in a while is a grip safety pinch. It’s rare though. I get it with every 1911 i own.

I have not had a 2011 with a polymer grip in quite a while, but many years ago I did modify my own grip on a STI and I never had a pinch there, but I did go for the same high grip as you. You can try to take a file to the area of the plastic and use very fine sandpaper to smooth it out if you don't mind doing that to an expensive gun.

Ha. I am sure he is a Staccato fan boy. He implies that those who don't buy a Staccato can't afford it and need a cheap knock off. I guess I should mention to him that he buys a Staccato because he can't afford an Atlas or Infinity, etc. He complains about the finish and trigger and he is literally the only one that I have heard or read about that has said that. As mentioned before I owned the C2 and really liked it. I am def not hating on it. Oh well, different strokes...

I have put a few 100 rounds through 2 different platypuses over the past year. Never had any malfunctions, finish is great and the triggers are fantastic. Sorry but that dude is a ****ing retard or lying. I know the government length platypus i shot already had 5k rounds through it. Not one hiccup. Stealth Arms is releasing them in .45 which i have to pick up. I heard they are making them in .40 and .357 sig which is interesting.

He’s literally the only person I’ve heard say that. Definitely sounds like a hardcore Stacato owner.

I’m not gonna lie, i ****ing LOVE Staccato’s. I really do. It’s gonna be hard not to get a c2 or the “new” C next year. But I’m not going to sit here and say every gun below it in price is now shit. Platypuses are amazing guns for the money, period. I would bet money that dude has actually never shot one.

I hear you. I am also a recipient of the ol’ glock knuckle.

funny that you mention that. I had been thinking of that as a fix. No issues with that whatsoever. Function over form.

nice STI btw

I would say this…. Based on what he wrote, he makes a decent argument.

Staccato vs Platapus is like comparing a Shelby to the modded supercharged 5.0…

Can the 5.0 do the things the Shelby can or better? Sure, maybe…. But dont you rather cruise on the Shelby? I know I do. Besides, I’d definitely trust it a bit more too.

Nice duo, @astrocreep96. Which one do you shoot the most?

The Staccato for sure, I don't shoot my CCW as much as I should, and really I shoot some form of an AR15/AR10 the most.

I am hoping to sign up for a handful of pistol and carbine classes this year to rectify that a bit.

In other news, wired a chunk of money to Miami for a transferable M16 a couple of weeks ago, hoping it all processes this coming week and I can get the Form 4 waiting started for a handful of parts I now have waiting...
