Easy there pocket pussies, I simply said she wouldn’t want to hear anything about it.

Are the at home tests worth a shit to test baseline T levels, or is it definitely a clinic thing you’d recommended?

Home test aren’t worth your ****ing time. The results are all over the map and not reliable in the least. Just have your wife order the panels or talk to a telmed and they can send orders to labcorp etc… seriously don’t let anyone give you shit about it. Most docs and nurses don’t understand dick about TRT.. You will quickly find that they all have very limited knowledge, unless they specialize in this field.

Just have labs done through your PCP. I have done yearly which alerted me to my deficient levels.

I agree, most PCP don’t want to touch TRT, which I see. It’s not a fully vetted remedy. There are still a lot of unknowns, granted a lot of progress has been made over the last 2 decades. It’s not something to just take without any sort of precaution. Another thing to be reminded of, some clinics don’t give a sh*t about you either and will put you on a high dose, with others supplements thinking you want to be the next Ronnie Coleman. You have to keep them in check and you have to persuade your PCP. We are stuck in the middle.

I was adamant at the clinic and now with my PCP that I wanted the lowest effective dose to help me feel better. I’m now on 60mg twice a week…a very low dose compared to most. I feel great!

Agreed…The reality is you wouldn’t want most PCP’s managing it all.. my pcp thought creatine was a ****ing protein powder. I do have her order the labs though, so I can have my ins cover it…for those that go to a heatlh & wellness telmed, stick to just taking Testosterone. Don’t get talked into a bunch of compounds, etc.. above all else, avoid those tclinics, its a sham.

My primary gave me the rub on junk and at my next blood panel I had even less T, lol. She was dumbfounded. I went to a new place with a male doc that I like and he sent me to a specialist. Somethings need to be handled...special.

Anyone have blood pressure issues?
No I haven’t had any, am usually right in the range… I occasionally check at home in the morning and its almost always on point… You can have some transient spikes where its a little elevated. I don’t know if I would worry too much unless you start to see a trend of it being elevated often.

I’ve been elevated. Just realized it over the past 6 months. My blood work is all good. Blood thickness shouldn’t be the issue. I’m wondering diet…I’m 130-140/80-90s when resting. Some would say it’s OK, maybe slightly elevated…some would say it’s alarming. My doc didn’t seem too worried. He said probably diet related and I’m probably eating more salt than I realize.

@2003RedfireVert you might try supplementing 6-9grams of L-Citruline powder daily, that will lower your bp some, won’t be a huge swing of the needle, but it will help. Added bonus it is a mild vasodialator and will give you a good pump too..

I agree

Citruline is one of the. Too many things I take

Also with TRT.. I’ve learned coupling 1g or more of protein per day per pound of body weight I “ feel better “

I can tell even on TRT if I don’t get my protein in .. I feel off

I have the same one but JFC I'm not sure how reliable they are. I can get vastly different readings in the space of two minutes. Sometimes it'll pump up the sleeve to about 200 or so before deflating and other times it'll stop pumping up at around 160 or so and then deflate.

Anyone have blood pressure issues?
I was midway through my career in the Navy and in great shape. Was getting migraines. I thought I was literally gonna die when I nutted. My wife and I were trying to have a baby but I thought for sure I was gonna blow a vein in my head. Got MRI and nothing. No one ever thought to check my blood pressure...WTH? It wasn't till after my career I was told I had blood pressure issues. Got on some at 50 Metoprolol and that helped tremendously. Years late had to up it to 100 which is what I use now.

Interesting.
Because most men don't talk about it. We don't go to the DR till an arm is hanging off. I had no idea I had very little till I was told. If there were any side effects of not having enough of it I didn't know it.

No man wants to be like “ so I don’t want to **** as much anymore “

Or “ I feel like less of a man”

I used alcohol to cover up my issues. If I was drunk I didn’t have to think about it.
