Not sure you can say they outplayed us. Sure, we didn't look like we usually do on offense, mainly because our QB is new and still settling in, but the OSU defense was stout. Not one big play, which was a HUGE issue last season in every single game. Also, on the last drive dudes made plays.

I think that QB might be in trouble in a couple months.

Once again, Ohio against the world!

Media and analysts acted like ND was just too much for Ohio State to handle this year. ND does have a good team this year, i'll give them that, but the last time ND beat OSU was 1936. Damn, OSU just beat ND last year and a few years ago in a bowl game OSU beat ND. The list keeps going. The change in narrative before the game was insane.

The end of the game wasn't luok either. McCord, after this technically being is second start since the other 2 games were split with Devon Brown. A bunch of clutch 3rd and long conversions and 4th down conversions . The 3rd and 19th was the play that led them to the goaline plays was what gave thema chance to win. I admit, I did not see a run coming since any play you choose, that was your last one with time left with as little as it was. I've never seen Ryan Day the way he was in the post-game interview. Right out of the gate hes said, "Where is Lou Houltz?!?!), and began just answering everything with toughness. Ryan Day is great!

Overall, from when ND held OSU in their 4th down conversion til the very end was extremely thrilling and exciting to watch.

OSU vs the world lol. They are never passed over in the rankings. Trying to act like OSU always gets shafted. Day is just trying to put an imaginary chip on their shoulder so maybe they'll toughen up and not get manhandled at the end of the year again.

I never said they get looked over in the rankings, but they are the most scrutinized college football program in the nation. The media and even the fanbase are extremely tough on them. Ryan Day was talking to his players and Columbus.

Michigan throws 3 interceptions to a no name team and no one in the media says anything about Michigan or J.J. McCarthy. Texas is in a 10-10 tie in the 4th quarter with Wyoming, but since they beat Alabama no one says a things. I'm just trying to say if OSU was tied with Central Michigan, or FIU in a low scoring affair in the 4th quarter everyone would reign hellfire on OSU. I'm not crazy here, other announcers are noticing the same thing.

I'm not talking about you I'm talking about Day. He looked pathetic. You are an elite blue blood program that's been in the mix for years. No one is buying your underdog bullshit.

No point of fueling the fire, nothing will put it out.

I'm just gonna go to my other forum and see if I can find another titanium watch or a 214270 since there aren't a ton of 224270s out. I'll just conversate with myself in this post, since I don't think we'll find common ground.

Considering how raw the OSU quarterback is, I think OSU is only going to get better as the year goes on. Winning a tight game like that against ND on the road will do wonders for his self confidence.

If you can accept that Day is a good coach but everyone rolled their eyes after his rant after the game, we can find common ground. And that The Game should be another good one.

Lol too funny we, and you don’t play for the team I can tell that struck a cord it’s cool lol I already knew it’s been that long thanks for reminding me and trying to give me a history lesson I already knew lmao did you learn that at OSU? It was a good game and Notre Dame played them good OSU definitely didn’t dominate it was a good game. But whatever floats your boat buttercup. We will see how tough OSU is if they can get past PSU and Michigan this year.

What strikes a cord is when you veer off topic after taking the L. You took the L, take it with dignity and move on.

Yeah, WTF was that?!?!? Ryan Day done lost his mind. Lou probably drank a cup of warm milk, said his nightly prayers, and went to bed at 7pm. He didn't even watch the game. Not sure what that was all about with RD but if it gives us (errrr, excuse me, OSU) an advantage and an edge this season, so be it.

Lmao off topic? You said not sure you can say to Kirk they outplayed us. Notre Dame didn’t outplay you? So did OSU outplay Notre Dame?

The answer is no. The game was pretty much evenly matched and came down to the final drive. Then when you say us I made a joke. I’m not even mad at all. I was disappointed Notre Dame didn’t pull out the win. But guess what they kept it close and it wasn’t a blow out like the Fiesta matchup and kept it closer than last year. Marcus is the right guy for the job and I see Notre Dame as improving if he can keep getting talent. How that will work with NIL and all that who knows.

Funny you you can tell with the response to Sinister I struck a cord proves my point, I bet you’re real fun at parties.

I guess Holtz made a comment prior to the game that OSU's big losses under Day were due to OSU not being physical enough. I mean, he's mostly right. I get it, you pull out a win you want to rub it in the nose of the doubters but that just looked... bad. He could have done it in a much better way and looked good doing it.

Colorado made a game of it with Southern Cal. Did better than I thought they would.
In other news, Texas has easily defeated all comers thus far. Oklahoma for them next week.

Watched Nebraska get pounded my Michigan. Damn, I remember when the Cornhuskers had a premier program.

I really enjoyed that game. I was concerned for Colorado after the first half, because USC had all the momentum. But a different Colorado came out of half-time and almost pulled off a win. How about that rookie freshman wide receiver Omarion Miller. He finished with 196 yards and a touchdown. He has a bright future with Colorado and Coach Prime!
