mid 2016 - while browsing through ebay I found a brand new Gen2 Coyote engine with automatic transmission and many other parts taken out of a brand new car to build a racecar. Parts were located in the middle of nowhere in the US and it was a challenge to get them picked up and shipped overseas but for the price I just had to get that engine.

The car was stripped of almost all decals, sonic blue is still a beautiful color.

Had TrueForged build me a custom coolant reservoir, turned out awesome!

Additionally I installed a Racebronco 50/50 hood with carbon fiber top and a Terminator trunk with spoiler.

2018 brought the need for more power for the Rolling50 races. So as soon as we could get our hands on a Gen3 intake manifold early May we installed that along with the matching Gen3 JLT CAI. Ended up at 497 crank horsepower on our Superflow dyno.

Now the car pulled all the way to redline and got me a 2nd place trophy in my class at the Rolling50 races. Couldn't beat the C7 Corvette.

Also did my first laps on the Hockenheimring racetrack which has since become my happy place.

Only downside to the Coyote swap - I was killing alternators and power steering pumps every couple of weeks.

The alternator could be a grounding issue.

When power steering pumps die in events like that it's often a starvation issue. I can't tell from the pictures where your reservoir is but it may need to be moved.

I distinctly remember a guy here years ago who relocated his to the drivers side fender and started killing pumps on track because he was starving the pump.
