Agreed. That dash, though, is horrible! (n)

I do like the sound of the exhaust.

"Everything we love about the Mustang GT is 100% present in this new one". Uh, no. They completely redid and soiled the traditional dash with split screens. They did address the weird feel/look of the two iPadish screens in the video.

The primary display is a tablet now?

That looks goofy as hell sitting there unless I’m seeing it wrong.

So upon further research, the base model 2024 Mustang has the split screens making them look like 2 tablets. The higher trims have a cleaner looking one-piece display (middle covered with glass) with the driver display on the left and the infotainment screen on the right.

Here's a useful video the explains the new infotainment and gauge cluster displays. It looks like there might be a lot of glare on the screens. That's something that needs to be looked into more. The heat/A/C controls are all moved to the infotainment screen. IMO it expands the settings options but makes changing stuff more time consuming that it has to be. I do give Ford credit for making the most of this new digital dash setup.

I like the digal dash set ups...just not when they appear to be last minute additions like they do in most Ford vehicles.
I mean come on...design a dash around the concept of a digital dash. Integrate it - don't apply it with a wad of bubble gum!

I’ll have to watch the videos, but it still looks “unclean” to me. The square edges creating the lines look off, and I imagine they look out of place looking from the front.

Do any Mustangs have a bad ass HUD yet? I drove a new S4 (back in 2012-2013ish) and I was amazed at how cool it was to have a speedometer/tach on the low edge of the windshield.

I give ford all the credit in the world for keeping the V8 and a manual but meh on everything else. Just not a fan. Oh and the “Dark Horse” is nothing but some Gen Z gimmicky bullshit. Hard pass.

The owner guy did kind of seem genuinely disappointed that the car didn't make like 450

What was he expecting?

My 20 GT made 400+ with just a tune. If I had a 500 HP DH making 20 GT power, I might be a little disappointed too.
