Hey Hudson, why do you suggest selling. Just curious.

I meant that if you’re going to sell the car I would list it on this site. You’ll get more traction, you’ll get what the car is worth and the site is well moderated.

Personally, I’d hold onto the Cobra till next summer then add a GT500 to your stable when you can afford the note. I think you’d kick yourself in the long run if sold it.

I'd hold onto it. This is a bad time to sell, I recently had my SM 10th Annv. Vert with 13,700 miles for sale. I wanted 39K and would've gone as low as 35K. I was getting 27K offers.

I'm keeping it and am going to live sparingly for a while which is fine. I'm very happy I decided to keep the car. I would've regretted it for sure in a couple years.

I'd need the VIN to confirm.. but I'd be good at $29,500 and I'd cover shipping. I think it retails for $32-33k.

Oh yeah, I checked the trunk of this car and it had the Ford Performance "Oil Separator Kit". I'm gonna take it to a Ford dealer on Monday to get a quote to put it on.

You got it brother.

What do you think you’re gonna do?
Kept the Cobra.

I spoke to a salesman at a Ford dealership in town and he said word-for-word:

"I wouldn't trade a mint condition SVT Cobra for no Shelby GT500".

He then cited that the SVT Cobra has kept its value so well, that you'd trade it in at a loss. He then went on to say, it will take close to 20 years for a GT500 to be as valuable as the SVT Cobra.
