I bet that was quite the beast back in 98. Looks like it stays nice and flat in the corners.
That $60k price tag though

Car is sorted out and built well. But 60k is absolutely absurd back in 98. Should of been otd in the high 40’s or 50 on the nose. I don’t see how that total package costs 32k.

The 1998 Kenny Brown 289-RS Cobra was impressive, both on the street and on the track. Two years later we'd see Ford launch the 2000 Cobra R; naturally aspirated making 385 hp and 385 lb-ft torque to the KB's 413/358. And rushed to 60 mph in the same 4.4 seconds. MSRP was $54,995. And it was a beast on a road coarse. $60K for that Cobra is insane, but there were plenty who happily plunked down their hard earned money for one.

Our Kenny Brown foxbody, the original owner, in 1993, spent $42k on the mods he did (that did not include the car).
