I would definitely look at something in the 305-315 area for width. Mickey Thompson or M&H if you want something really sticky or even some Toyo r888r’s. For more of an all around daily tire someone else will have to jump in. I tend to only run drag radials with a low tread life when my Cobra actually runs. Strictly for straight line traction reasons.

Nothing better than getting a little cruise on memorial day. Mid 70's, slight breeze, and no humidity!

Almost took them both out, but it was definitely cobra weather!

Hope everyone had a great day!

Sounds like you had a perfect day, weather wise. We had rain and clouds most of the day, so my wife and I (with help from our granddaughter who is home from nursing school) spent the afternoon going through our walk-in closet and getting rid of 6 huge bags of clothes. Well, getting rid of as in donating them to a charity for the homeless who really need clothing. It was a busy but worthwhile day.

I went on a drive after I finished work today. Had the top down, real nice weather today.
That warning decal on your radiator cover is great!

Always feels good donated things to people that could really use it. We donate quite a bit as well.

Added some 3" bullet mufflers in my x-pipe yesterday afternoon to cut the rasp down a bit. Haven't driven it yet as Whipple still has my throttle body but I'm hoping these make a difference.

Is that the American Racing Headers long tubes and X pipe?
That's what I have and am already thinking about doing the same since I know it's gonna be loud and raspy.
Thanks

View attachment 1705936 Got mine out of storage for the first time since October of 18. Did a fluid change, burned through the old gas in the tank and installed 10.5 wheels in the back with 315s. This pic is before wheels. The car has 38k on it now.
So it sat in storage 2 1/2 years? Were you away (military)?

Nice looking Cobra, and the paint looks really nice. Is that mods list in your signature up to date? Basic but nice mods, sir!

Went through a divorce and didn't have a garage or a house for a while. So I did a full detail on it and put it in long term storage in a warehouse. It was started a few times a year just to warm up and get the fluids flowing. Mods are up to date. However, I'm considering porting the supercharger.

So after selling my Mystichrome convertible with only 28k miles back in 2017. I have a new Terminator. Or yes a half Terminator. It's a 1998 Gt, but with a 03 Cobra engine. I've had it for almost a month and a half so far. I put a lot of work into it. From new headlights and fog lights to repainting the supercharger and interior peices. It still needs a lot of love. It has 05 Mustang GT seats in the front. I have a list of things to do on it. I just put the battery in the trunk because I needed room for the steering fluid reservoir. I need to sandblast and repaint the valve covers bad! They are horrible. Besides it dying when you start it until it's warm ( got put some gas into it for it to not die at beginning) and some kinda annoying piston slap until it's warm, I think it drives fine. The last owner said it has 460 hp. Someday I want to get it Dyno tuned.

Ah, thanks for the update. As far as porting your blower, you might want to consider skipping the port expense and instead save for a VMP or Whipple upgrade. Just a thought.

Congrats on the sell and buy. I wish you the best on your modification plans with the GT, and hope you soon resolve the minor issues.

Cobra went into storage since my 64 Falcon is now back together. In my falcon my little 3yr old can ride in her car seat in the front plus with the blue tooth she likes it most because she can be DJ.

My daughters been telling me she wants to ride in the cobra again but she'll be kicking the seat and get bored not being able to put her hand/foot or face out the window in it. I can't wait until she can ride shotgun in the terminator with me.
