If someone were to make up such a story, they should write books and make movies for a living.

I bet the whole drive home, your mouth was wide open in disbelief even hours after it happened! That’s some crazy stuff.

Damnnnnnnnn.
That's pretty crazy man. I'm glad it all worked out well for you in the end!

Good luck on your new search!

Just when you think humanity has gone down a rat hole, a story like this emerges and restores a sense of hope. That is one hell of an experience and I second the "Divine Intervention" aspect, from start to finish.

Its been a few days now and Im still just dumbfounded as to what happened. A lot of positive for many involved, with any luck justice is served to those that deserve judgement. In the future, I hope to avoid this situation again for obvious reasons lol.

As for where do I go from here, wife and I decided to take care of some things that we were able to put on hold. Of course, my title and lien release from Carmax are in the mail for my GT500. We will see how I feel about it once its all here and settled. Gotta be honest, its a great car but my honest gut feeling is that its time to find my classic. Its just too damn expensive to make it faster, then theres the EPA thing... it was a great run

Candy Crush. Your taste in games disappoints me and is the only thing that I can fault you on this story. LOL

But at least it worked out in the end and really that is all that matters.

Hey man, its oddly satisfying.... and you are 100% correct to be disappointed lol

Wow! THAT is quite the story, and fortunately you got your money back quite easily. The seller was a straight up nice guy. Sorry you lost out, but happy the rightful owner has the car back and YOU got a full refund.
Im not even going to lie, I was ready for a big ole middle finger. I was stunned at the set of morals and conviction for doing the right thing the seller displayed. This country would be a VASTLY better place with more men like him around.

Wow, that'll never happen again in history lol.

Any pics of this Nova?
A few I can post up. It was a total project man, but one I was very much looking forward to.

I well remember the '69 SS Novas back in the day. They were definitely bad ass and respected on the street.

My old man has a 72' was his grandma's. He picked it up from her when he was in high school. It was baby blue 6 cyl, dog dish hub caps. Well now it's a rectangle port 461 BB Chev with a Howard cam, nodular Ford 9', turbo400. Still only has 38k miles. 72' last good year for the No go!

I'm on the "Rape me in the microtransaction ass" level haha. Honestly, I'm about to delete it. It's fun but boring again

Small update: While I am still at a loss for words about the circumstances with the '69, I didnt rest on my laurels.

I bought a 1973 Nova coupe, this time it acutally has a clean title AND comes with everything (engine/trans) etc. Ill start a thread down in pics and vids. Heres a quick pic of the car in all her ugly paint glory!
