I figured this happened in Florida. Awesome that (A) the armed citizen intervened and probably saved the deputy's life, and (B) the laws in Florida worked in the good samaritan's favor.

This is old but a great one. If this were to happen today, the outcry would be insane.

I remember this one. As I recall the deputy pinned on the ground told the ccw to shoot the suspect.
