I'm an ASE Master certified Automitive technician since 2010, ASE certified since 2006. When I was with Lexus, I was a Lexus Master technician. Been in the industry since 2005. I chose to do it, I'm good at it and it's how I earn my living.

I can say 100% that I'd prefer my daughter and any future kids to NOT become a repair technician if they have the aptitude for STEM college work or are business savvy (business college).

If they chose on their own to get into the trades, I'll do everything in my power to make sure they get the schooling they need to be the best in their trade.

But Id prefer they not need to rely on their hands for their career.
