The court erred in their judgement. The 2nd DOES include the right to carry a firearm. That is literally what 2A means when it says "the right of the people to keep and BEAR ARMS, shall not be infringed."

That means any arms as far as I am concerned. People should start pushing the cockroach politicians and lawmakers to get rid of all weapon bans. Put the heat on them and go in offensive mode. Unfortunately there's plenty of precedent with the 4th amendment that people are all too happy to cede their rights to the government under the guise of safety- which it never helps. Not to mention the country even banned alcohol to make things "safer" for almost a decade. Call me a pessimist but I have little faith in the legal system or the people to make the right decisions.
