@jeffh81 Great Car! You'll love it.

- Since you have a bunch of money left over for mods, here's what I've done to my '20 GT PP1:

The OEM carpeted mats and OEM Mustang rubber mats that came with our new GT are up in the attic.
These are what I’m going to use, Ford authorized. Thanks Chris at AutoNation:

This is the seventh vehicle the Window Tin Pro has done for us.
He added a 4-1/2” strip at the top of the windshield while he did the sides and rear:

Remote Keypad / Actuator
Ford P/N KB3Z-14A626-A 1X
For a 2020 Mustang it must be programmed by dealership.
Its a sealed unit, that has no access to the battery.

Attached by double-sticky backed tape (already applied).
I raised it slightly to allow water to flow below.

JLT Oil Separator Model 3.0
P/N: 3024P-B
Made in USA!
Simple installation. Instructions direct you to remove strut tower brace and intake cover.
Good idea, but I was able to do it without removing either.

Steeda Jacking Rails for 2020 Mustang GT Convertible
P/N: 555-5207
Made in USA!
Simple installation, remove/replace 8 fasteners.
These jacking rails will make it very easy to raise the car for oil changes/maintenance.
Be sure to have some Blue Loctite on hand.
It wasn't listed in any of the videos or instructions I've read, but it was applied to
the OEM bolts I removed.

OEM Bolts prior to installation

View attachment 1646897

OEM bolt (top) appears to be cadmium coated and had blue Loctite applied.
Steeda bolts look to like zinc/chromate.

So instead of using the shorter chromate fasteners that were supplied,
I reapplied Loctite and reused the OEM fasteners in the front.

Jacking points on the rear of this GT convertible are difficult to find.
The 2 jacking points in the rear are obstructed by square structural members.
Another reason to install the jacking rails.

View attachment 1646902

The Jacking Rails extend about 1/4" below the pinch welds.
Definitely need to use a rubber pad on the jack!

Just changed oil for the first time at 1,062 miles and installed the
Ronin Factory Ford Easy Oil Drain on my 2020 Mustang GT:
($80, Made in USA, USA Owned Company, Veteran Supported)

FORD EASY OIL DRAIN

OEM drain plug I replaced:

Ford Easy Drain Plug installed. To use the Drain Plug, unscrew and
remove the gold cap. Screw-in the Adapter (in my hand).
The farther you screw it in, the more it opens the valve, and the
larger the volume of oil comes out.

Yes sir. I've been using a set for the cobra for years. Had to buy a set for the notch. Spendy, but a little added insurance.

They really do work well. I paid $253.65 for a set of 4 (14"). Now, they're $277.00 for the 14", $189.00 for the 10". I forgot how expensive they were. If you want the best, you've got to be willing to shell out a bit more coin. ;)

Getting ready for the winter blues to set in.

The Cobra has been winterized and in storage for about a month now. Cleaned up the 911 and put away in the garage. Washed, waxed, & covered the wifey's FRS in the driveway until spring.
