After sitting for almost 2 years in the garage due to the need for a hip replacement, I shinned her up under the hood. I have a bunch of front suspension parts to install. I then need to get tires and an alignment as last year I did the IRS-FTBR upgrade. Soon I can drive it again.
I don't like covers. The wind blows and they flap back and forth wearing the paint. Snow blows up under them and things start to rust. This isn't the first winter its been parked outside and I've owned it since 08-Apr-2001.
BTW, I have one of your shifter gaskets which will get installed this spring. Soon as the snow melts.
Although it doesn't look like it in the picture, we get very little rain (or snow) here and the air is very dry. As long as the car is open to the atmosphere any snow that does blow up under it usually sublimates quickly. Honestly, my car has no rust on it anywhere. I will say, I don't drive it in the rain (unless I get surprised by a T-storm) and it is never winter driven, but I often park it outside for the winter.
