who the hell has time to watch all these 10-15 minute videos? I really wish people would at least sum up the video and then the people that wanna watch still will
Wow seriously? I mean, just skip to the end if you do not care about the diagnosis steps. I very literally said in the first minute what the main issue was and dug more into it later in the video
I mean I appreciate the views and the support will help pay to fix it, but christ, try being a little nicer.

Pretty sure, the snout of the crank broke off. There's no way you should be able to turn the reciprocating assembly by the supercharger pulley if the crankshaft was intact. I'm sure you have a few bent valves and possibly windowed pistons. Is that the stock camshaft? Good luck with the autopsy. I don't have high expectations that you're going to get off with minimal damage.

it just seems to be running rampant right now and your thread just happened to be where it came out. Most don't get right to the point, they ramble on like an episode of Curse of Oak Island that could have been summed up in 1-2 sentences.

edit: seriously though, sorry you hurt the motor, sucks ass for sure

Like I said man, the thumbnail and first minute of the video sums it up. If interested in seeing the diagnosis and story behind it, then watch on. If not, then move on.
Again,I do this stuff to share awareness for people who use the same parts or need help diagnosing. These videos also help fund fixing the car when things like this break. Sorry you seem upset over this, but simply not posting would have been just as well.
On the flip side, people get pissed when I do not post enough info and go too fast.

Im taking it no one actually watched the video. lol.
Yea, I confirmed mid video its the crank snout.
I am bore scoping it in a few mins, but I pulled 1-3 cyl plugs already and they looked perfect. Only reason my hopes are high.
Sorry I did not see your post at first. I know the reality, but I have some hope

I read in another thread that YouTube or the advertisers are prioritizing video over 10min. So if you want to make money you have to drag it out to over 10.

You keep saying you are diagnosing the problem but at this point you haven’t diagnosed sh1t. Like I told you on the super friends forum, the motor needs to come out before you can diagnose anything. What you are doing is called speculating. Until you can hold each part in your hand and get the block checked for cracks you have no clue what the extent of the damage is.

so a little follow up. Balancer bolt required nill force to unthread. No locktite on it and a few threads were screwed up. So my "assumption" is that was the cause and just happened to work itself out enough now? Or it cracked loose when the snout snapped. Potential installer error from the shop that installed the ATI?
I bored scoped cyls 1-4 so far and only inkling of anything close to anything potentially making contact is microscopic on cyl 1-2. 2 valves appear to be out on 1, but its TDC, so I am not overly concerned.
Plugs all look like they should . I am pulling the driver bank now to review.

I guess you are gonna be that guy today. Thanks for the support pal. Im not asking for help really. I am just posting and documenting findings. You probably didn't even watch the video. Not sure why I even bother anymore trying to post stuff like this. Always has to be that guy that has to piss in someone's cheerios I guess.

I watched your video. I’m just being real and telling you what needs to be done. I’m not pissing on anything. I guess if you are looking for a hug I’m the wrong guy. If you want advise on building a modular motor I may know a thing or two.

I watched about 2 minutes. I knew what was wrong when you turned the supercharger snout and said the bottom pulley was turning. I didn't need confirmation. Sorry! Does your bore scope take pictures?

I was only saying because I said in the video what it was already. Man, ya'll are a tough crowd. I try to provide to the community as much as I can, but doesn't seem its overly welcomed.
None theless, I think it does take snapshots, but its some chicom deal from Amazon I borrowed, so its not the easiest to work with. Long story short, I saw maybe a slight hint of kiss on cyl 1, 7 and 8.
I also feel like the rockers on the intake valves on cyl 1 and 2 are extremely loose. So the probability of bent valves are either high, or these were not properly clearanced from the get go. I think that could be as well because I was told by Brenspeed they put cams in this thing and springs and valves, but there is no lope at all. I have a hard time believing someone removed the cams and I bought it from the guy that got it immediately after done and he had no clue about anything. So who the hell knows at this point. I am gonna try to google the markings on the cams to confirm if stock or not.

Honestly, Im not interested in your help. Your response already doesn't seem like you are worth taking advice into consideration. I cant even say thanks for the advice because there was none. So thanks for the sideways comments and not viewing the video.

Op, this is probably the wrong site to post something like this.

Most of us work on our own cars. Imagine if you asked one of us to come to your house, would you go through all of that when we all know the crank is snapped in a min or two?

This is def viewing material for some day dreamer that can’t change a tire who is watching on YouTube. So more power to you if you profit from it.

Flip side is, don’t get all pissy from negative comments. It comes with the territory.

Jesus. I mean I figured it out pretty quick before you guys even commented what it was. I was just sharing the experience. Man this is a tough crowd. Sorry you guys have broke your cars years ago and I am late to the game. lol. I was merely adding a video on what happened to share my experience and more so to get feedback on what causes this.
