Does this F-150 seem like a good deal?

I recently became a homeowner, and would like to buy an F-150 for countless uses.
Not looking to spend over $20k, but want all the features (leather, moonroof, etc)
I'm thinking of going to take a look at this one tomorrow, it's in my home town. Clean Carfax, 1 owner.
The only thing I'm undecided on is the 6.2L, and the fact that it already has a tow hitch.
I would really like a 5.0L

I’m not much on Ford trucks but that thing is a good looking truck.
Sorry I’m not going to help you with a price.

Why would you consider the hitch a bad thing? Might be worth looking in the Raptor forum for more info on the 6.2. Friend of mine had one in his Raptor and his only complaint was the MPG.

I’d go down the road and see what Gervais ford in Ayer has for used trucks.

Do you see anything wrong with this one, Dave?
I'll def check the inventory at Gervais. I need to check Bonnell too (where my father worked for many years).

Personally, I wouldn't pay that for a truck with that age and mileage. The 6.2 has proven to be decently bulletproof and reliable though. However, a Lariat is going to have a lot more comfort features that may find their way to malfunctioning on a 10 year old truck.

I actually looked up the private party value of my truck yesterday. 2015 (new aluminum body), 77k miles, 3.5Eco, SCREW, 4x4 XLT came back at $25k. I'd nearly always go with the newer, lower mileage truck with couple less options. I paid $28,xxx back in late 2017.

I have sliding rear glass, heated cloth, remote start, 8" radio. Not a shabby optioned XLT. Not to mention trailer brake controller, and e-locking 3.55 rear.

Check the rockers and carfax. Looks like a nice truck. MPG should suck but if that's what you're after buy a Prius. FYI my 2007 Nissan Titan got a consistant 13-14 mpg's. I'd bet the 6.2 does better.

6.2L is a great motor, other than MPGs. Not sure I'd pay 20k for that truck personally when you can get into a 13th gen for not much more (or maybe the same price for a high mileage one), but I also don't feel the need to have every available option on my trucks either. Check the cab corners. Then check them again. Unless that truck spent its life in the south, they are/were rusted. Even if it's a southern truck, chances are still good they are/were rusted.

Not sure why you're worried about it already having a hitch, almost all F150s come with it from the factory. That one also has the factory trailer brake controller.

The 6.2L is a "bulletproof" engine. Sucks gas, but there are quite a few Raptors with over 200k+ and still running fine with no mechanical issues.

Like @SweetSVT99 posted, the 09-14, maybe like previous gens, suffered from rotting of cab corners depending on if moisture/salt/mud got stuck in the rockers/cab corners. Some don't have that issue, others do. I know @DriftwoodSVT 12 Raptor had it and it was a non salt Texas truck. Just got to get under the truck and really look from the inside out(still tired may of mis-spoke) and really make sure the corners/rockers look clean. Cause by the time you can tell from the exterior, it's already long gone. And it's a 3-5k repair bill for both sides.

Like mentioned above, before the aluminum gen rust on the cab corners is very common. Mine was damn near falling apart when I traded it.

I think the price is on the high side too,
go to a bigger dealer you’ll probably get more bang for your buck
