I’ve missed Formula 1 the most. Should be back in a couple of weeks. And they’re trying out some new rules. Will be interesting to see what shakes loose.

I never followed basketball and baseball until the last few game’s of the season (NCAA Final Four, NBA Finals, and MLB playoffs). So not having them on TV hasn’t affected me in any way.

But I’m still a football fan. I’m able to put the political BS to the side and still enjoy the game. I hope this is mostly sorted in time to have a full season.

I'll keep watching football. My brother, step-brother and a couple of other guys get together and talk shit and eat and just hang out during the games. If we aren't getting together I don't go out of my way to watch most of the time.

I think the NFL just might lose it ass this year...and i hope it does
Me too! It would be glorious! And then watch the whole NFL do a 180 AGAIN, just to gain it's fans back. GLORIOUS!!!
I'd like to laugh in the player's faces and say,......"See, they really don't give a **** about you, it's the ratings man. They're just doing it to show good face. How do you like that?!?!"

The land of commies and socialists!
Haven't missed sports in about 10 years. I stopped watching them when I realized what a complete and utter waste of time they are. Seriously I have far better things to do then to plop my ass on the couch and watch them. The only exceptions are the super bowl, maybe the finals and the last round of the masters.

Now that I haven't watched them in so long I don't understand how people can sit on their ass all day Sunday and watch football. It's pointless IMOP.

I've never cared for or followed sports. Normally, I would have said "let them stay cancelled".

But given all of this social unrest, I'd be more than happy to see them come back so people have something to be distracted by.

Hopefully those overpaid children don't trip over themselves with their political grandstanding.

The answer is tradition. But, the SJW's have controlled the humanities long enough that traditional love of country is being erased.

Do you realize what you said is the underlying problem? Play the anthem because you want to and because it deserves being played. To me, tradition is not a good reason as those tend to get broken. On Xmas eve we are supposed to eat one bite of everything and for decades I've broken tradition and refused to eat a prune as it is heave inducing. Just saying.

I enjoyed baseball just for the pace. But players crying about getting paid - has me doubting. I know I won't pay to go watch them.

My interest in football waned with Kap's crap. Keep kneeling and my interest will disappear. And now everybody is on board with signing Kap - after they paid him some unknown amount because he was offended when no one would sign him. So in reality, he is getting paid twice for disrespecting the flag. BS.

I enjoy college sports, but now talking about compensating them? What are the scholarships for?

I will continue to watch NCIS and House reruns.

He's pandering to SJWs trying to make up for his half clap for Bruce Jenner

Posts and likes are not mine.

Ending your athletic career for a war in which you were killed is being compared with a two bit qb still making millions of dollars after his playing career ended by his own choice due to the anthem?

Isn't Farve the same jackass who not only hawks shitty razors on television but took millions of dollars for speeches he never gave? Maybe we can get Jim Bakker's take on the matter since he is also a huckster.

It's funny to see every one in here talk about the NFL/NBA crybabbies who think their opinions matter" ......so I guess in this thread its a bunch of under paid cry babbies who think their opinions matter hahaha

No I’d say more about people who care about there country and are tired of the BS. Also if you’re at work and go out and kneel or protest would you still have a job? Most employers on company time would probably tell you to pack up your shit and get the **** out.

I think it’s also about when we watch sports we want to watch, be entertained, not hear about political views and oppression when these athletes aren’t oppressed. Maybe growing up they were who knows not now and really probably give two ****s about poor oppressed people they’re in a different league it’s all PR and hey give me a Nike contract as a spokes man or shoe.

A big question (not excusing behavior if legit) is whether or not the race driver opened a can of worms with his actions of pushing his views on others?
