My recipe... N/A Coyote 5.0 with 500+ HP (forged internals for STRENGTH ;) ), gears (4:10's?), revised suspension front and rear, maintain 75% tow/haul rating and let it rip!

IMHO

stock coyote already has a forged crank and rods have been forged since the gen 2 motor. The pistons however are still hypereutectic, however these motors have reliably handled forced induction in the 700-800 range, guys have pushed them further, but generally on borrowed time past that. 500+ NA and the stock motor will live forever.

Forged pistons are a mofo if youre sensitive to sounds.

I'll take hypers all day long where they can live reliably.

my motor with diamond pistons sounds no different than it did with stock terminator pistons, even when it's 40 degrees out. If it makes any additional noise it's not enough to hear over the procharger.

5.2 Voodoo in a lightweight F150? Can a 10-speed trans handle the RPM? THAT would be interesting! Towing and Hauling may go out the window though.

Powdered Metal Rods for the time were a step above cast rods without the expense of certain stronger metals. They were stronger than the OE cast rods of the regular 5.4L but they still had limits(which happened to be between 450-500hp).

I was fortunate with mine. It lived for quite a while at 501/582 on my street tune. It lived through my race tune too.

ya, they did the swap in their lightning...makes 0 sense to me
It probably runs pretty well..

Between the engine and tranny it probably saved 200lbs of weight.

That 10 speed really cranks up the wheel torque too. Even in second gear it's shorter than first in the 4r100, and the ratios are so close the engine probably doesn't dip much below 500hp during a pull.
