Lund is making 803 rwhp on a 2020 with E85/ID1050x injectors on stock pulley, intake tube (filter removed) and exhaust. Just imagine what bigger intake tube, full exhaust and smaller pulley/more boost is going to make! 900+ should be easy with just basic bolt-on's, thats crazy.

Perhaps, but only time will tell how durable the engine and (more importantly) transmission are at those power levels. In the meantime, I remain quite content with my old and tired (but very reliable) '13 that makes "only" 733HP/713TQ with simple bolt-ons. :D

Yeah Im starting to think that even if I were to pull the trigger on a new one, I would have to keep my 2013. I dont really think I can part with it. I still love it too much. And I agree with ya Norton. Ours have that old school bad boy muscle car look more than the newer ones ever will.

I"m in the same boat. Want a new toy, but don't want to give up the current one.

I was interested in buying a 2020 GT500 But with All of the BS from Ford & the Selling Dealers, ADM! I’m not interested at this time. I Love just looking at my “13” Convertible and 6 speed trans with only 1100 miles to date..

Look at the front/nose of the '20 Shelby. Seems to be a bazillion things/angles going on. And they seem to me, to be fighting each other. Rice anyone?
Look at the 13/14 front/nose. Much cleaner IMO.
+1 to all of this!

2020 appears to be from a whole notha' country...

.
The look of the 2015 Mustang killed my interest in the Mustang, forced me to buy a 14, which I never planned to do.

Manual? Or because its its cheaper?
A little of both probably. I recent drove a ‘19 GT350R and can’t get it out out of my head. My ‘13 GT500 is an ax-murderer in comparison due to the handling and ride quality alone. I’m hopeful to try to keep my ‘13, but will likely have to sell to get a GT350R next year.

If I HAD to get a newer Mustang, it would be a GT350. Like you, I think it looks better than the new GT500, but still not as good as our cars. They rev forever, without ever planting you in your seat like our cars do - right off the line and through the entire power curve. They sound good, but I'm not smitten by the FP. They handle better than ours, but I couldn't tolerate the loss of HP and TQ. The bottom line is that, since I don't HAVE TO get a newer Mustand, I probably never will. At our elevation, you should think twice and make sure you're not going to miss the ax-murderer you know when you "upgrade" to a purse snatcher you just met.

It'll look just like this:

It’s entirely possible to improve the handling on the S197 to god like levels and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Even a ‘68 can have >1G cornering if you want it to
