Wonder if you can stack it with the deal that Costco has on a 6 quart case of Mobil 1?

Might be worth a try. I don't see Costco on the list of participating retailers but either is Walmart and I have been using Walmart for the rebates about 4 years now.

Great deal on oil for sure. Price at Wally Mart is $22.88 for 5 qts, with a $12 rebate makes it $10, not bad !!
After looking, cant find 5w-50 for my 13GT500 ??

Walmart only sells 15W-50 in the 5 quart containers. No 5w-50 available but Walmart sells a 6 pack case that will ship to your home and is still eligible for the rebates.

You probably know this already but Mobil One does not recommend using the 5w-50 synthetic oil in the 13/14 Shelby GT500.

Based on what you've told us, your vehicle manufacturer recommends a 5W-50 viscosity and oil that meets Ford WSS-M2C931-B. We currently do not offer any motor oils in the United States that meet these specifications. The recommended oil filter is M1-210/M1-210A.

Thanks for the info ! I have been using Motorcraft Syn. but think I might try some Amsoil. Hear good things about their oil.

I would like to get oil cheap from Walmart, but need a place to take my old oil.
I've heard that Walmart is a hassle to bring back the old oil.

This thread reminds me that I need to get in the habit of getting oil when it is on sale, instead of just-in-time and looking around for sales at the time.

Just putting it out there, autozone does a package deal every few weeks where you get the 5 quart jug and a mobil one filter for $30.99. Buy motorcraft filters by the case on rock auto, then purchase the deal and return the mobil one filters for $15.99 each. I usually clean out the whole store of 5w20 and 0w40

I'm also keeping an eye out for the Mobil 1 deals but noticed Pennzoil does deals also and I'm sure other do as well (Castrol and Quaker State). Pennzoil just got through with a $25 shell gas card on a jug purchase. So it's essentially free!

If no deals can be had, I'm going with Costco Kirkland Oil. Project Farm rated it above Mobil 1 and it's $25-$30 for 2 jugs. You can't beat that.

Thats a screaming deal, please feel free to post up a link to that promotion now and the next time you see it active. Sucks because I just bought 3 jugs a couple weeks ago.

Summit has the 6-quart box for $45.99... but need $100 in purchases to get free shipping...

I have on occasion gotten O'Reilly, NAPA & CarQuest to either price match or beat that price when I needed ASAP too...

I remember years ago when Advance Auto used to have $10 or $15 cash rebates for the 5-quart jug of synthetic Valvoline or Pennzoil along with Motorcraft filter purchases...
Then they switched to their in-house gift cards.... So I would "recycle" my gift cards to get the instant discounts and new replacement gift cards [same amount] in the mail.

As of April 1st, its on again. Looks like they've:
- Dropped the amount for 5 qts from $12 to $10
- Changed it from a check to Visa prepaid card.

For purchases made between April 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020:
Mobil 1 Motor Oil Rebate | Mobil™

"Save big when you upgrade to from conventional oil to America’s #1 selling motor oil at retail.* Get up to $24 back when you purchase select Mobil 1™ and Mobil Super™ products. Offer valid through September 30, 2020. Restrictions apply. See terms and conditions for more details.

Register online or mail original register receipt(s) from a participating retailer dated between April 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020 when you purchase any motor oil from the Mobil Super™ line, select products from the Mobil 1™ synthetic line or Mobil 1 extended line of products. For a full list of qualifying Mobil Super, Mobil 1 synthetic, and Mobil 1 extended line of products, see below. Purchase any of qualifying products from a participating retailer listed below and receive a rebate in the form of a Visa® Prepaid card."

Man,

Last years' deal was great, getting $17 in cash with a limit of four submissions for Mobil-1 Syn Jugs & their filter....

Yeah this one sorta stinks but Mobil & Wally-World will get my $ and will be picking up the two jugs sooner or later.

I used to always go ape on the Mobil 1 deal but between the Project Farm Oil Tests and Costco selling their oil which was rated better than Mobil 1 and always the same price and available, I'm switching over to Kirkland and not worrying about the rebates anymore...

I need 12 quarts of Mobile 1 0-40 for one of the cars and purchased (2) 5-quart jugs at Walmart for $22.88 each delivered. I’ll buy the remaining 2 quarts locally. After the $10 rebate that will be $12.88 for 5 quarts or $2.57 a quart delivered. Sweet.....
