Dude I owned an 04 Cobra, 11 5.0...15 5.0.....if you think the 04 is better than the 13/14 Shelby you are DEAD wrong.
He is referring to the "I can buy a cheaper car and put xxx amount of money into it and beat the other car" argument people use. Example: Well I can buy a $500 Honda put $20k into it and beat your 04 Cobra all day.
I have owned a 03 cobra, 2011 5.0, 2016 5.0 and now a 2013 GT500. Both of my 5.0s were boosted. Also a Hellcat. I will say interior is ridiculously nice in the newer 5.0 and Hellcat was nice to. My GT500 is just ok. If I had to choose between any of them I would still choose the 2013 GT500. I love the tq and it's stupid easy to mod to make mid 700s. My car already had full exhaust so another $1500 will get you mid 700s on pump and 800+ on E85. In less than a days work. My Hellcat also made 800 to the tire and I daily drive that. Cars nowadays are more expensive but to me you are getting what you pay for. Good luck bud
Did not watch your video but let me guess, rods and timing gear, right? For sure terminator motor was built stronger. From the factory. But that is where it ends.
The 5.4/5.8 should have had forged rods and beefier timing. Ford ****ed up on that front. But the displacement more than makes up for it.
It is a lot easier to add rods and timing gear than it is to add cubic inches, especially when difference is as great as it is between the two.
Which is why like for like gt500 will ALWAYS have more potential than terminator.
