Where are you located in NH? Im just across the boarder in central Maine. Love the protection to new parts with powder coating. Plus, who doesn't like pretty colored parts?

I got the bumpsteer kit because Maximum Motorsports says you need it with their K member because it changes the geometry of the suspension. So, I don't think it is supposed to "help" so much as not have the new geometry hurt, if you follow my drift.

I also used to run the L springs, now BMR drag.
I liked the Ls but they definitely don’t drop much, 3/8” tops.
For a street brawler the Eibach Pro kit or GT500 specific BMR options are great.
I have a set of like new Pro kits PM me if interested

Just odd how it shown as an option. The k should just be priced with the bumpsteer kit included. Anyhow... Good info.. Thankx

Yeah, and it still comes with the wrong installation instructions, so watch that if you get it.

I did not do the install. Tob has an extensive thread on it. If your search s197 k member I think you will find it. That thread is the only way I knew about the need to install the bumpsteer kit differently with the mm k vs OEM k. So big thanks to Tob on that one.

J-

we will be out this year ...... Jeff
Hey Jeff, yes sir. I really plan to just enjoy the car and fine tune it most of the year, then go hard towards fall and really hope to run some good times at NMRA BG finals and Mod Nats at SGMP.
How about you buddy?
Going to any events this year?

My winter mod plan was to install my "part 2" mods, but my one outing to the drag strip last August to test my car with my current mods sucked ass. From my line lock acting up to the stupid shift grind/lockout my Shelby totally pissed me off.

So this whole winter I didn't do shit to it, I wasn't happy with it having that BS shift grind issue so I did not install those other parts.

I want a time at the track with my current setup without a shifting problem so once warmer weather shows up I'm giving it another go.

As for my shift problem I decided to throw 1 more part at my car. I'm going to change out the fluid in the trans to Amsoil and I'm going to get that Blowfish racing bracket and HOPEFULLY my shift problems will be gone...…………...we'll see.

Spring can’t get here soon enough. Dyno either 4/19 or 4/22 and then just going to enjoy/cruise/fine tune the car until late summer/fall. Just need to enjoy it and not break it, at least not til late in the year.
I’m sure more than a few in this thread realize drag racing a heavy stick car with big power breaks sheet :)

Me and you both buddy. Gotta be 4-digits though right?
Probably more potential in that sweet TT Coyote setup, but that can wait for sleeves right?
Trust me it’s hard to have the car ready to rock and NOT race it, but I’ll do my best.
My son is 5 and needs to learn to enjoy it like he used to, so no down time from breakage will be risked until good DA comes. Plus I really want to race NMRA BG and Mod Nats this year. Come on over east of the Mississippi and run with us man.

That’s fantastic. My son is 10 and adores my car and the whole hobby. He’s a junky just like me!

You will break 4 digits. That’s the easy part. The hard part is gonna be manning that ship but wow!—it’s gonna be a blast that’s for sure.

I wish I had some good racing buddies close by. Would love to race with you guys.
